The past six or seven weeks on the job have been solid meetings in preparation for two large projects that are hitting at the same time.

Today I worked from home and blocked my calendar. I got so much shit done
W NO MEETINGS and NO DISTRACTIONS!

Plus, a person who is out on sick leave finally came back who is going to make a critical presentation for my team, and it was good to get that date set. And also glad they are healthy, recovering and back to work.

Had some good news on a new product that I have been responsible for almost a year now. It got through two major committees at work and my boss is presenting it for the final approval next week.

And I got the back lawn mowed tonight after dinner. As @likes2watchU says: put that in the win column.

Good morning early risers and afternoon to our European diners. Thoughts from some of yesterday’s posts:

I used to always block off the first 2 hours of every day. In those 2 uninterrupted hours of an 8+ hour day, I got more done than if those hours were not blocked.

Potatoes are not the best for my type 2 diabetic diet. But if I do eat them, I love the multiple colored fingerlings.

This is a sex site so phallic shaped vegetables are a given. And so are other innuendos! It’s playful and fun.
