Thoughts about recent posts:
Scottish lineage- yes my mother was a Campbell!
Complicated parental relationships- mother and sister had that and so did my late wife and her mother. I sided with my sister and my late wife every time whenever I was drawn in. I always supported them as both mothers were narcissists and placed sons on pedestals.
Air quality- not good here at all.
Adult orphan - for 20 years and still miss dad.

I finally realized that “I” needed to be put at the top of the list. You are the most important person to yourself. More than anyone else. It’s a hard thing because we are taught our entire life that everyone and everything else is more important.

I will summarize:

This thread is like the bar cheers or the corner coffee shop. We are FRIENDS here and not like other threads...we are fiercely protective of the vibe and each other. Growing up we had white and purple lilac bushes as a property divider between our house and our neighbor to the south. The colors and fragrances bring back some lovely childhood memories.

Hi, my name is Likes and I'm in the Complicated Mother Club, too

Hmm, Dolly Parton is her godmother... and 7th cousin.
Both have lovely voices and can carry this song well.
I think an unplanned video of them both talking about the song and their covers of it would be interesting. Must also bring an extra layer to their relationship, too.

I hate nights like that... and there were several after each of my knee replacements (which is different than a tendonitis flare but similar pain and loss of sleep). I hope the PT helps reduce these episodes for you.

I hope they accept your numbers and you get good results back.
I struggled to get my heart rate up where they needed but kept going because I really did not want to do the chemical version of the test.
