Yesterday was a significant anniversary for the management and I. So another day of celebrations and now I probably wonā€™t eat for a day or more.

Tonight I am teaching again, this time scouts. We havenā€™t done this before so hopefully it will be a good few hours with talks on entomology, flytying lessons and teaching them how to cast a fly line.

Throw in dog training, gardening and ā€œstuffā€ I donā€™t seem to draw breath

At some point I might get a moment to myself and disappear into the hills with a fly rod.

I'm elated that you had that time with your mom!
Also, I want to compliment you... if someone is going to be as covered up as you are, you've certainly selected a path of great activities! Kudos for that.

My mom broke her hip yesterday and is having surgery today.
My fly rods and fly tying gear are sitting in storage.

I think that you have, at the minimum, truly earned the Participation Trophy.


Yesterday used to hold significance for me, and for a long time, too. It's nice that it now comes and goes with barely a murmur


Spell Check Buddy corrected that to "murder." It passes without that/those, too.


I really hate Spell Check Buddy.

That's kind of a fear that I have with mine.


And it's why I berate to use her cane.


Now, if she'd just keep her phone with her . . . all the damned time . . . .
