Oh, the water supplies are like on the first job. The pipe butchers (plumber) cut them off and had the lower parts all labeled and ready to go. Pity he didn't label the top parts. I left them to sort it out.

Dr nearly killed a captain of mine with that pre-test laxative they send home the night before.... the one that makes you pass everything, including what you plan to eat for next Thanksgiving...
He was crying and writhing in pain on his living room floor.

When they got him to the hospital and opened him up, his intestines were about to explode, due to having 100% blockage.

Happy Tuesday!!! Slept okay. It's too damned hot this week, so go figure.


There is a wee clowder of cats up at the corner. They live behind a restaurant which has closed down, at least for the moment. A crazy cat lady comes through morning and evening and feeds them. Wat rides through some mornings to speak. They come running out of the bushes because they think that breakfast has arrived, so I reckon Wat will have to stop.


Or start bringing food and water.

LOL! I had to do a double take. My mother has an inherited cookbook from I’m guessing the 30’s? It actually has a recipe for Turtle Soup. Not the pond kind…nope, the big Loggerhead type. Illegal now obviously as they’re protected, but man…they harvested everything back then.

Work’n for the man. He’s kept me going. Home today though. Been out west where the weather has been nice. Coming back to East Coast…not so much. Stay cool y’all. Trying desperately to catch up this a.m. We all know how that is in this Spoon…
