I agree, they are dead easy. In my youth, I used to make many different kinds of cheesecake because I had addicted friends who could afford to buy them.

I started making them after I retired. I've now adapted most recipes for minis. They're easy to portion and freeze well.

I'm so glad your mom's procedure went well. I'm sure it's a relief for you.

Had a minute this am to try and catch up…impossible on this thread. Just a quick update. The Ablation went fine but her heart rate dropped off to 38bpm twice overnight. The doc decided a pacemaker is the way to go so that is being done today. Not sure if it’s the old style that just keeps in rhythm or the defibrillator style? I’ve heard there are two types.

Anyway, she’s doing good for having to go through two procedures in a short amount of time.

Oh…did get to glance over some other posts…first concert…Johnny Cash! I was six…maybe seven. Came to our local High School and my parents drug me along. I didn’t understand the significance of it until many years later.

Fave drummer? I came of age in the Neil Peart and Stewart Copland era…pedestrian I know, but they were good. All the others mentioned were awesome also! Always appreciate a good drummer.

Dave Clark was excellent. A great drummer, songwriter and arranger.
