Good morning diners It feels good to be back. I am not going to even try to catch up. And today is my daughter’s birthday. Today I take her turn and drive the kids to day care.

No.... I am reluctant because I want what I want and this isn't it.... but I am also thinking that I will put in paver patio and pergola.... at bottom of steps to the driveway.... that will be pretty too.... and more cost effective

He has great reviews and is highly rated on bbb and Angie's list... I have ptsd from other groups who show up fuck it up and then disappear

So my friend went to Scotland and cycled the outer hebrides ...she told me some of the towns she visited...the only one that sticks out is oben.... they took trains planes buses bicycles etc on their journey..... she did try haggis and liked it... she also said that she loved having a lemon posset. ( probably spelled wrong) and that the sausage was weird at breakfast...

Oh and she had lots of pictures of puffins and the highland "coos"

Not mine. I was just putting that up for illustration and give MissK some Ideas. I highly recommend the flagstone or pavers. Low maintenance and wish I’d of listened to my dad who told me to do that years ago. Of course he told me to just “throw down a ol’ slab of concrete!” We were trying to get away from that look we both grew up with. Didn’t consider flagstone as that wasn’t a big deal around the coastal Carolina’s.

I’ve been researching Indian tribes around the area my wife is from in the desert southwest. Basically narrowed it down to two tribes, one well known, and the other a smaller offshoot of a well known tribe. I started reading a book about Apache’s and it’s sort of given me pause and I might be leaning back towards them. She had both a paternal and maternal Native American grandmother…but sadly, no oral tradition or tribe affiliation. Mainly due to the Mexican side of her “tribe”

In light of all the New Mexico research I’ve done…I’m switching gears this week to New Mexico MZ—-enjoy

Fighting a migraine today which is likely from the storm. Barometric changes coupled with big swings in temperature tends to mess with my head. We're down more than 30 degrees from yesterday.

I'm going to sign out for a few hours in hopes I can make my 1pm meeting. I really want to get that resolved.

Back porch should start thursday.... weather permitting
I showed him bathroom drywall problem. He then proceeded to tell me that my house is moving the framing is bad and only way to fix it is to tear it down and redo it.... that the wall is bowing... I dont see it but ok

Cosmetic repair it is. He is gonna fix a couple doors so they at least close...

AND ....

My a/c is running all the time set on 75 and current temp Is 79....he can come on sunday...

All the curtains closed and the fans are on... great ... he is a good guy... I won't go to anyone else for hvac
