Dr.Tyler did not pass a very good afternoon. She fell when she wasn't supposed to be moving about alone. Hit her fucking head. Two CT scans in five days. I wonder if they looked to see if she has a fucking brain. Told her not to do this shit. She does what she wants/thinks is a good idea. We may have to teach her to drink herself into oblivion three times a day.

Agreed. My BFF is at her dad's this week helping him settle in after a stint in rehab. He had fallen and broke his hip. Had to have surgery and then rehab. He is very stubborn and set in his ways. Determined to go home and not assisted living. Doesn't want to admit it's time for more help... even though he had live-in help present in the house when he fell and broke his hip.

This is entirely a staff issue. They are supposed to monitor her. Confused persons can't remember what they've been told as they have very poor short-term memory. For the remainder of her stay, request that she gets moved closer to the nurse's station.

AFAIK they do. Patients can't be restrained for convenience of the staff. Those bed/chair alarms can be helpful. Many places will use a sitter for those patients, though. A sitter can watch the patient and help keep them busy.
