It's really difficult for people who are used to doing for themselves and others to have to accept help. I saw that in my FIL.

I love fresh blueberries but very much dislike them when cooked into something. They become all mushy and soft and just ick

The blueberries we get in Europe are, in my opinion, virtually tasteless. They have, however, received great PR and are regarded as a superfood, leading them to be popular with those claiming to be living more healthily. This usually manifests itself in people throwing a handful of bluberries on a sugary, calorie-laden breakfast cereal and patting themselves on the back at their healthy lifestyle.

Good day today.

Good discussion abt a thorny topic this morning. Then off to the farm property.

Bucked (rounded) a few logs and took down some dead ash trees.

Then knocked out the rafters on the solar kiln. The angles can be a challenge for me, but I got it figured out. Took me some time, but knocked it out.

I still gotta skin it, put in insulation, paint it, build the doors and paint it. So getting there.

Then spilt some firewood and mowed the lawn at the building we maintain.

Bonfire and then dinner. Now football.

Almost 18k steps.

This is entirely a staff issue. They are supposed to monitor her. Confused persons can't remember what they've been told as they have very poor short-term memory. For the remainder of her stay, request that she gets moved closer to the nurse's station.

She was - they did. Got her a better bed alarm and a hall monitor, too.

Okay, up, oh three hundred. Coffee and catching up and fixin'ta finish loading out and hit the road. Truck is prepped. Got Hella deal on gasoline, which is good because all the rest of it went back up this past week. Motherfuckers. I'll pack and pretend that I'll be there all week, but I get the only super I really liked and he's really good back for this bit, and he comes tomorrow, so I can come back tomorrow night. That'll be needed. I have to go to the bank Wednesday and rifle the safe deposit box.

Elder Care Counselors women sent an email last night telling me they can he'p with a rehab facility, too. We did find a living will and a power of attorney, unexecuted. We need inked versions, so I reckon we get to call her lawyer, too.

There is a great deal to be said for getting hit by a train . . . .
