17c is kinda cool, nice autumn or spring night here, if we get regular 50c days I’m gunna move!

At least on the East Coast of the US, we are seeing really nice autumn weather. It’s been about 60. (15-16c) for the last week or so.

Reluctantly I am up at the diner with a cup of coffee. I let the old dog out and then tried to get back to sleep. But alas, the stomach growls and I said what’s the point. Just feed me and give me coffee.

Yeah, there's plenty of that here. I'm a Civil Servant and it's pretty much full of people like this.

I think that’s pretty typical in the states too… lotsa beurocrats and middle workers trying just not to get fired so they can retire and collect a pension.

(I know not all… but it’s a common stereotype)

Morning all…It’s my day today. Go forth and enjoy. Once you get over the Hump…

Got things done yesterday, Getting my mind right for heading back out into the real world. Going out for my walk today. Gotta bundle up…it’s like 48 out today! . I’ve been bitching about the hot weather we’ve been having…now that the chill has hit…I’m like, can I take that back?

Big shout out to @likes2watchU for helping me research that movie I’ve been yapping about and searching the better part of twenty yrs to find! All the talk about MTeeVee yesterday had me thinking about it again, and L2’s research nailed it down! Fantastic Planet (La Planète sauvage, 1973-the original French) is it. Funny how the years have warped my memory about it…everything I’ve been searching for was not only off by 20 odd yrs but the things I thought I remembered about it were wrong!

Anyhow…L2 dug in and found it in a couple of hrs of research. Thank you my dear! Your MZ——

Septic Tank Boi has been MIA for several weeks all in a row. We wuz wunderin' if'n we needed to be fixin'ta find another tank boi fer this-here drainfield installation at the lot across the street. Well, he done turnt up last week and is due out at Crack-O'-Dawn to look at our job. Today.


He's 15 minutes early no less . . . .

Got back from my 3 miler…knocked it out in 61mins…I’ve taken 5-10 off when I first started…I might be running if this continues?

So, had a funny encounter on my walk. The regulars are all on the trail, couple new dog walkers, and then I come across this lady. I’m gonna say around 75 maybe? As I get closer, I hear music. She’s got over the ear headphones, with a toboggan on top…ROCK’n OUT!.

I couldn’t make out what she was listening to, but I think it’s safe to say it wasn’t Sinatra or Elvis! . The funny part is as we pass, she give me a one finger salute…NO, not the middle finger…just a pointer.

I laughed as I walked on…I realized she probably had more time logged on the back of a Harley or driving her own sports car than I ever will!

Lesson for us all…keep on Truck’n.
