What a long but enjoyable day. My granddaughter was out of sorts at times and then her chipper self. My son was the very good self. We had a good lunch. I had a real turkey sandwich not one using turkey sliced from the deli.

Made great progress on the solar kiln today. Got all of the insulation in and got most of it walled it in.

Got the roof on too.

Mrs wonderer was a great assistant… she anticipated all of moves, knowing when I needed the circular saw, the jigsaw, impact gun etc. I was battling the rain which never really started but all good.

Really, I just need to get the exhaust fans in and build the doors in the back.

Sounds yummy! Recipe, please?

Take an acorn squash and cut in half. Scoop out the seeds and put a dab of butter into the hollowed out area.

Cover with a tent of foil and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

Then cook the rice. I have precooked jasmine rice but any rice of your choosing works.

Test the squash with a fork. The fork should go into the squash with little effort.

Fill the squash with rice, generously add dried cranberries ( about a tablespoon). Add another dab of butter and arrange raw pecans as shown.

Bake 15 minutes at 375. Let cool and eat

Quick pop in. Weather is beautiful. The last of the cold nights, for the next week hovering in the 40-50’s at night and not getting over 70 daytime. Only one day of 50% chance of in the next week. Should be an opportunity or two to wet a line.

Happy Saturday! Got home and realised I left the damn computer in work town. Imagine the litany of vulgarity, triple it, and you will be close to what was said. So it goes.

Went to see Dr Tyler on the way home. After yesterday‘s hand job phone call with the healthcare providers, I did not see any improvement. If anything, there may be some deterioration. Basically, she’s just waiting around to die I think. It happens, I suppose.
