Donuts and cider or coffee or tea will always improve one’s spirits this time of year. I feel the need for a donut. There is a small business donut shop around the corner. I have to be careful

Quick pop in. Weather is beautiful. The last of the cold nights, for the next week hovering in the 40-50’s at night and not getting over 70 daytime. Only one day of 50% chance of in the next week. Should be an opportunity or two to wet a line.

Happy Saturday! Got home and realised I left the damn computer in work town. Imagine the litany of vulgarity, triple it, and you will be close to what was said. So it goes.

Went to see Dr Tyler on the way home. After yesterday‘s hand job phone call with the healthcare providers, I did not see any improvement. If anything, there may be some deterioration. Basically, she’s just waiting around to die I think. It happens, I suppose.

So it goes….

Is the laptop a goner?? Hopefully you can get it back.

My sister wanted me to help her make roll out cookies for some event tomorrow at her church. We agreed she would be here at 830 because dough needs to chill etc... is she here yet ...NO... dough in the fridge chilling so it can be rolled.... so annoying.....

Another day, another batch of soup on the hob (jk - I'm in the US... have only seen a hob on the telly )

How's the day treating everyone else?
I've been indulgent...
found an open 90% Cacao bar in my freezer
it had 3 squares left
...and then there were two
Don't feel too left out @Wonderer67 - it's dated for 2023... only a 2 year-old chcolate.

Downside of work from home - no holiday candy elves leaving milk chocolates at my workstation to age gracefully

Good day.

I skept poorly so I made the most of the day. Loaded and delivered a cord of wood.

Sold three wood bins, so filled them up.

Then I painted the inside of the kiln.

The into the woods to cut up some ash. Loaded it up and brought it to the log splitter.

When I drove home I noticed that the three bins I filled up were empty again!

Then Had a fire before dinner.

21,000 steps.
