Yes.. And people don't realize there is a under tow on the Lakes too. Swimmers have drowned because of it.

Good plan, the water is pretty cold except for Lake St. Clair.. But I used to get nasty ear infections from swimming in it.

I forgot to post that it was “legal” to put up trees and Christmas decorations now.

Yes..yes she is. Only getting worse with age I’ll add.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad. I left my youngest on duty watch Thanksgiving night. Get over there yesterday and there’s a shit ton of boxes that we had pulled out of the shed onto the back porch that had migrated inside. She said he brought them in but I have my doubts…

We put the tree up, fixed some things that needed fix’n, played Christmas music, and I had flashbacks of us doing the same when I was a kid. Not being able to do this on her own is driving her crazy.

I go back home grabbed a nap, come back and there’s hammers and tape and more decorating do-dads from Hobby Lobby strung around. Her grandbaby was helping so I wasn’t too concerned. We hung up the Moravian star and she said that was it…then added about five more things.

I spent the night to keep the five more things from materializing till today. Her doctor told her to move around that day and she followed orders. Anyhow, things will be looking spot on by the time the rest of the tribe get back from TX.

About 1 the light snow started. The roads were OK by 2. Driving home I noticed the drivers were very cautious.

They are calling for up to 6 inches by tomorrow. They even closed schools Monday already.

I the summer they frequently post no swim signs especially in the inland lakes. The Great Lakes are so big, dilution keeps this safe for swimming.

I have been on each Great Lake except Ontario. They all can get scary in a hurry with the right storm and winds.

At this time of the year, it’s about lake affect snow.
