There are few things more fun.

One part I miss about the army. Playing with weapons systems. This will sound heretical to any tanker, but I enjoyed firing the the machine gun as much as the main guns during gunnery practice and qualifying.

For some Boattrash logic, I was telling my Goddess, yesterday, that I was due for another injection and it would be a good way to eliminate the possibility that it was a reaction to the medication itself.
She didn't really like my logic, but I don't think She was surprised either. 🤣

I regained a lot of mobility in it, which was the main thing freaking me out about it.
I don't have to move it with my arms. 🤣
My legs are supposed to carry ME, not the other way around.

I am reading a book about an English punk rock band (Gods Lonely Men.)

They are touring Northern Ireland and then take the boat to Scotland, I think in your neck of the woods.. (stranraer - very Viking sounding). Anyway, they’re stuck in this town having a drink at the local.

All of these Celtics supporters come streaming in and they’re talking and all having a laugh. Then he describes that about a half hour later, a bunch of Glasgow Rangers fans come in.

“The mood immediately changed. A dead stillness fell upon the bar, and the physical division of the opposing groups was quite apparent.

It was as a by design, but the sound of breaking glass and then yelling and fighting… it was like a scene out of an old West bar brawl only much worse.”

They got out and escaped.

“ I went in there the following night, because I couldn’t believe what it happened. I struck up a conversation with the bartender and the place was as clean and as shining as before the fight.”

“ I asked her about last night. ‘Ah, that’s just them, having a Saturday night rammie.’”

Sounds like total chaos!!

I know. And I can imagine. One of my best friends has lost the use of both of his legs. I can’t even imagine…

The things we take for granted.

Good morning Wat, MissK, Kathy and Wonderer. The diner was open when I woke up. So I had blueberry coffee cake and slice of cheddar cheese with my coffee ( bad ass woman roast by local roaster).

My plan: hunker down, let the snow plows work, shovel a path out back for the dog, rest and coffee again, bake. I am tired already and have not started yet! 😂

The path for the old dog is clear. ITV was wet snow so I pushed it and not hurt my back. Be careful out there.
