Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is doing well these days. Now my question is who still has pecan pie left? I missed mine for Thanksgiving

So it’s Mrs wonderers and I anniversary.

Were going to the city of brotherly love to see a good band.. The Effigies (also a great name for band).

We’re meeting a good friend from Pittsburgh whose idea it was to see said band since he grew up w some of the guys in the effigies from the Chicago scene.

I also happen to be working in Philly Monday thru Wednesday so I will stay behind, Mrs wonderer will go home and then pick me up from the Trenton train station on Wednesday.

Should be a fun evening out and an interesting next week.

Everything looks like Christmas out there. Couple feet of snow, and then a few inches of soft powder on top of everything.
It was feeling like a good day to work on inside projects. So, spent the day on a little 'fun' project.
It is actually for fun, but not 'fun' doing it! Then I 'effed it up, but kept a cool head and found a way to recover.

So, I was thinking about movies today. Some of our favorites are The Matrix, Grosse Point Blank, The Whole 9 Yards, Thor Ragnarok (The marvel one), Equilibrium...

What are all of your favorite movies?

Suddenly, it feels like time to wind down and maybe watch the TV for a bit...

Thanks, but I pretty much swore off of the NSAIDs after what I did to myself when I had that flu last February.

If you're not allergic to them and take carefully, they will help. Alternating eith Tylenol is a good plan so you always have something in you for pain.

Yes..yes she is. Only getting worse with age I’ll add.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad. I left my youngest on duty watch Thanksgiving night. Get over there yesterday and there’s a shit ton of boxes that we had pulled out of the shed onto the back porch that had migrated inside. She said he brought them in but I have my doubts…

We put the tree up, fixed some things that needed fix’n, played Christmas music, and I had flashbacks of us doing the same when I was a kid. Not being able to do this on her own is driving her crazy.

I go back home grabbed a nap, come back and there’s hammers and tape and more decorating do-dads from Hobby Lobby strung around. Her grandbaby was helping so I wasn’t too concerned. We hung up the Moravian star and she said that was it…then added about five more things.

I spent the night to keep the five more things from materializing till today. Her doctor told her to move around that day and she followed orders. Anyhow, things will be looking spot on by the time the rest of the tribe get back from TX.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! I will soldier on with the decorating queen!

Was this her first quake? I remember my first and it wasn't a very big one. I think about a 4. A 6 is pretty significant!
