It dawns on me, there's an Imperial Shittonne of shit at Dr. Tyler's which needs to be packed up, because we have a house to empty out and prep for sale. I'd like to have it on the market by March or April and get it off the books. No time like the present to start in on that, especially since I can pirate some boxes from work. Or is that brigandage?

I called and made an appointment to see a 99-year-old top-of-the-line Chrysler for sale in NJ. The test drive is problematic because it has a flat. They're working on it, they tell me, so it may be next weekend. No matter, it'll happen when it does.

Work is slow, so it's a good time for all of this to be happening, all in all. And there is a hitch in getting the new job started. Meh.

You have my empathy about your mom and the tasks ahead. There will be feelings that will creep up and my advice is to ride them out like a wave in the ocean.
