In theory, yes. I usually work in the office three days a week.

But it’s all dependent on who needs to see me. This was an in person team planning session in Philadelphia that have been scheduled for several months.

Grandpa’s taxi safely delivered the grandkids home while the snow was picking up. The drive home was 45 mph on the interstate. It was getting slippery. Now I am relaxing watching MASH reruns.

Hey B2…do you cook on cast iron? I’ve always heard you can get some iron just by eating what’s cooked on cast iron. Lodge makes pre-seasoned skillets that are cheap by modern cast iron skillet standards today. You can find them anywhere and they’re made in the U.S.A.!

You can also drop some coin and go with Smithey, Stargazer, Field, Butterpat or a family run outfit out of Wisconsin, Austin Foundry Works. A wee bit more pricey, but they make them like the old Griswolds, of which I have a #10 dating to ‘39-‘45…no serial number, you just trace it by the foundry marks.

Up. Coffee. Gonna blow Worktown this afternoon. It dawns on me, there's an Imperial Shittonne of shit at Dr. Tyler's which needs to be packed up, because we have a house to empty out and prep for sale. I'd like to have it on the market by March or April and get it off the books. No time like the present to start in on that, especially since I can pirate some boxes from work. Or is that brigandage?

I called and made an appointment to see a 99-year-old top-of-the-line Chrysler for sale in NJ. The test drive is problematic because it has a flat. They're working on it, they tell me, so it may be next weekend. No matter, it'll happen when it does.

Work is slow, so it's a good time for all of this to be happening, all in all. And there is a hitch in getting the new job started. Meh.

Do you think I could just bring a small portable compressor and a tire patch kit?

I haven’t been around for three or four days. Working in Philly… planning and budgeting for 2026. Long fucking days.

I do not like our COO. She’s a nice person and all (that sort of the problem) and she is really between a rock and a hard place. But she’s at this point where she needs to fucking lead. You don’t get that high of the corporate ladder by not being able to lead teams and people.

Maybe she’s just mailing it in and waiting to retire. But she seems to care too much and to care too much about small details that are not important in the big scheme.

She annoys me.

Last night at darts, I was paired up with the fairer half of a husband and wife couple. We had scratched back and forced a third and final match, and were behind. She puts an earworm on the jukebox that he couldn’t stand! . He literally walked out of the bar! .

Turns out it was on a loop of songs where he works and he couldn’t take it anymore!

It was a good plan but all for naught…after his short walk out he came back and drilled three shots that ended the night! We were all laughing so hard…
