I just got out of shower and got a call that friend 2 streets over fell and couldnt get up... well she slid out if a chair..this am she fell and broke her right arm
So i went over and checked on her got her up and got her tucked in....

Thank you as that is good advice. I read that as we age, we don’t realize how dehydrated we get. I have been adding more protein like chicken and eggs to my diet.

It is. I just got my lab work back. I need to drink more water and take some iron.

I went in to my Dr's office yesterday to get my blood drawn in preparation for my appointment with him next week. The young phlebotomist is very good and so sweet. She knows me and what a hard stick I am. She usually is able to draw my blood no problem.

Welllllll, yesterday I was a problem. She ended up having to stick me 4 times. She wanted to stop after 2 but I didn't want to have to come back so I convinced her to keep going. The first two sticks, I just turned away and let her do her thing. By the third one, I'm helping her. We could both feel the vein but when she advanced, it disappeared. On the last one she put on a hot pack then I spanked the hell out of the back of my hand. The veins popped up, together we chose one, she went for it, and SUCCESS!

Sometimes my body just annoys the fuck out of me!

And you don’t think it annoys other people ….. like her?

Grandpa’s taxi safely delivered the grandkids home while the snow was picking up. The drive home was 45 mph on the interstate. It was getting slippery. Now I am relaxing watching MASH reruns.

Let’s go have a drink together . I am taking iron supplements but ultimately had an iron infusion. Things are back to normal for iron.
