The same in MI where I love the summers and fall. A walk along the beach in the morning and evening after dinner is a wonderful experience and memories.

Sigh - how long before we can do that again? 😮‍💨
 
Dateline: Asbury park

Fun night of drinkin and rockin and rollin. Rolled into town and hit the WonderBar for amry/navy. The staff were great… they normally kick people out at 6 for the 7pm show. But I was wearing my first cav hat and the waiter and bartender recognized it. Bartender was Air Force vet. They let us stay and watch the football game. Two bars came on and did sound check - both good.

Then we moseyed to the Stone Pony. Jesse Malin fuckin brought it. His band is so good. Imagine Americana music with a few dashes of punk rock sensibilities. He was stricken w a rare spinal stroke and can no longer use his legs. He is able to stand and sit but can’t walk. They literally carried him on and off the stage.

He’s a helluva songwriter and story teller.

Met a bunch of lovely people. Drank too much.

Hungover.

You have a valid point. I can layer up and stay warm in winter. I can only take off so much in the heat of summer. Come north when it gets too hot in June and July.
 
Up. Been up for a bit. Got roped into watching some videos. Those damned things are sneaky AF. Amazon delivered my box o' tea after dark. Crushed. Dumb shits. They get a lot right, but when they fuck shit up, it's proper-fucked. This is still usable, but it looks like Hell. No Presentation. Logictifically, Wat should bitch, but fuck it.

Good morning Wat. Sorry to read about the crappy delivery. Fortunately you were able to salvage the tea. What brand of tea was it? I tend to like Yorkshire. It’s not easy to find.
