We sawed about 3000 bd ft for all the trim/stairs/handrails,casing when we built. That color is pretty close to what we used in the house.

Both of my parents were avid manual transmission disciples. My mom drove a stick until she was forced to give up her keys at 83.

I learned on a stick. Everytime I went to buy a new car and requested a manual drive, I was met with, "Do you even know how to drive a stick, little lady (or sugar, honey, darlin. Insert platitude here)?"

I might have scared a salesman or three. I learned to drive in Italy.

Both of my vehicles are automatic now.

Well you will be well equipped here we have one of each. The estate only has stick shift pickups.

I learned and got my DL with an automatic.
However, I jumped at the chance to learn stick since we were a 2-car family with 3 drivers. And 4 more siblings biding their time before they got their DLs. By the time I went to college, 2 cars and 5 drivers plus another doing their practice driving.

Check with the social worker to see if they have therapy dogs who visit with patients. This should be something s/he could arrange.

I finally got my new cabinets installed on Saturday. The guy is not a great businessman but, damn! He's a fine craftsman! My cabinets are gorgeous, solid oak, including the drawers and shelves, and stained to match my existing 30 year old oak cabinets. I am beyond pleased!

Home. Thought this day would never end. Tomorrow will be my last day as I have to go back to "Home"town and sort out Dr. Tyler's banking arrangements. Work is boring AF this week because we don't have much going on, what we have is gooder/roofers and it's gonna rain come Thursday and Friday. Same back home, too.
