The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Yes, for just a short time so far. I could see her getting depressed later on. While we were often apart during my work trips, we were never apart on Christmas in decades. Of course I'll be going in to be with her, but in her mind, we're still apart. I have to keep up the cheerful attitude.
Everyone needs a cheerleader when they're laid up in hospital.
Push the boundaries of those visiting hours, I say!
Good job keeping up your wife's spirits!! 🥰

TDK is asleep on the dresser. I'ma bother her because I can. She bothers me, so why not.
Sure. What could possibly go wrong with that plan?

Not one of our medical staff... I've always heard Fever Free First then 24 hours minimum... a full 48 is best.

Personally, I still limit physical touch with those ill and anything they've touched just in case... because germs (i.e. bacteria, viruses, etc.) DGAF

🫂 hope they feel better soon and the full course of meds knocks the bugs out.... and that you stay healthy yourself.
Does this infer unlimited physical touch with the healthy? My kind of woman! ;)

Update on my wife's mishap while visiting me in the hospital. Her first full day of physical therapy in rehab facility. Since I convinced them to stop giving her tramadol, her dizziness is mostly gone, and she was walking laps around their large gym, using her walker. By the end of the day, I could see her increasing her speed(not excessively), and she even managed to go up and down four steps using just the handrails. She's motivated to GTHO of there. She's not very impressed with the food choices, so that's extra motivation.
Excellent news! Onwards and forwards.
