I'm rearranging a buncha shit around here. Getting books-n-mags cat-proofed, such as that is even possible. Some of this indoor warehousing of munitions can go to the car barn. A lot already has, but more is on the way.

I bought a thermal rifle scope a few months ago and charged its batteries last night. This morning, while it was still very dark, I took it outside to try it out. I was able to find one Pasture Poodle staring at the house waiting for breakfast and two more who were acting like they didn't care. One wee spot may have been a goat. It was pretty cool.

Love that.

Reminds me of the first time I looked through a thermal drivers site in the army in June. It was mid June at Fort Hood, and all the lightning bugs were all over the place. Zillions of them and looking at them through the thermal drivers sight was nothing sort of amazing.

I’ll never forget it. It was magical.

I have been looking into making salves and herbal ointments.... i could rent space on your farm stand..... think jewelweed salvecfir poison ivy. Headache salve etc. Been doing some research

We decided to travel this weekend, and make the rounds to some relatives we missed out on this Thanksgiving. Roads were snow and slush covered, but would have been fine for the trip except for the occasional drivers varying speeds from 25 in no passing zones to 65 in the passing zones. Maintain speed, or pull over once in a while!

A few along for the ride hope to hit some bookstores today, as we don't have any (worthy ones) at home.

I may or may not find a few stores that sell tools. Although, to be honest it's getting harder to find anything to buy anymore. Same is happening in the big sporting good stores... sigh...

I think my cell phone is getting way worse. Now I'm swearing at motherforklift autocorrect all the time!

It really has deteriorated in the last year. Almost to the point of being unusable. I swear it's because the cell phone provider wants me to upgrade phones. They keep texting me offers for $1000 off a new phone!. (And, when the hell did phones go over $1000!!! I didn't pay that much for my first car!)

I like my phone. It's 4G, and they're trying to push 5G networks, but we don't have any ducking 5G towers around us.
Hell, our 4G doesn't even work half the time! 3G had better coverage through the leaves. 5G is going to suck even more.

It's not unheard of for phone providers to push older stuff out by downgrading service and writing software to use extra battery to make them worse... I'm pretty sure that's what's going on here now.
