So … home after a week away with family celebrating Christmas and a special big birthday for the management. It was a lot of travelling but we had superb meals in restaurants, a trip to the London Palladium and a couple of nights in Liverpool to complete the birthday celebrations.

It’s good to be home though and have my boys back

I listened to a segment on NPR about weight loss drugs. In some countries they will soon be going generic but not in the US. India, China and Brasil if I remember correctly. I have always been on the opposite side. I have to work to gain weight and was desribed as painfully thin but I think she was ..............

I am not a programmer but stayed at a holiday inn express once and a friend of mine was an earlier coder from the 1980s.

He said the process of examining code was called “taking a dump.” Because you had to dump all of the code into a file. I think it was called a dump file.

Anyway that’s what he called it and it reminds me of what you are doing… examining code.

I just caught up to this. I hope all goes well. We went thru this with our son, not easy.
