The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Morning all. Off to Corporate Zombie land, as Wonderer says, to get my i’s dotted and t’s crossed. See what’s on the horizon and get back to it.

It’s been a nice little semi-retirement but the hotel doors slamming in the middle of the night, party girls giggling and some doood trying to work the angles with one of them…loudly in the hall 🙄

Welcome back to Survival of the Road Warriors. Real retirement is looking better all the time…

Not much time this a.m. Everyone have a great day!

Don't know if they are as good for circulation in cold weather.
I have no idea. I'm all about the taste.

Ginger and Mint are good for digestion. But I've been drinking both for decades because I like them. Hibiscus is one I came across in recent years. Very tart. And will stain like cherry juice stains FYI. But again, chosen for how it tastes more than what it can do for me. 🤷‍♀️

I know.... she is tough...if she didnt like it she would rain hellfire upon your head....
I know. I don’t know what I was thinking… poking the bear.

I don’t know if I was being a wise ass or had a death wish…

Sorry OM! 😬😬😬

Source Google:
The saying "poking the bear" (or "don't poke the bear") means to deliberately provoke or annoy someone powerful, dangerous, or easily angered, risking a negative and potentially severe reaction, like a bear attacking when disturbed. It's a metaphor for testing boundaries or stirring up trouble with someone formidable, such as a boss, a govenrment, or anyone who might retaliate strongly.

Good day to all the new folks joining this thread. Remember to read the first post. Here it is for convenience:

Talk about whatever you want: food, sheds, baby goats, nudist camps.

Topics to avoid: politics of any kind, current events, religion or drama.

And respect one another. This place is built on respect for each other.

This is not a pickup joint. If you’re gonna try to get cyber laid here, you’ve come to the wrong place - or at least build some rapport first.

Order a coffee. A beer. And a nice dessert. Let the barkeep know what’s on your mind.”
