I usually just give them "the look" when they do it. It has always resulted in them fishing my change out of the jar.

The Look is also effective. I'm using it more-n-more at the gas station when they short me on the change because "we don't have pennies."

What happened?

Oh we have a peer that likes to step back let everyone do the work and take credit/criticise. .. all with the excuse that she doesnt want us to be doing rework.... it is all bullshit... we were splitting up responsibilities for onboarding new person and she took nothing... when we asked she was like u guys have it.... so trust and believe i will be speaking up with "you had the opportunity to take the lead and declined...your input at this time is a moot point and isnt required" all said in a professional way of course.... my other coworker team chatted me that she finally believed what i said about her work ethic .. my response "i have been dealing with this shit for 6 years"

Thank you all for the comments. I didn’t come here for the sympathy on biopsies. I am not worried.

It was more to lament the fact that I am on the downturn of life. That I went from seeing medical professionals that end in the letter ‘R’ like Family Doctor or General Practitioner to medical professionals ending in ‘IST’ like Cardiologist and Dermatologist.

I need to stop playing guitar and need to take up playing the trombone because trying to read a book the arm moves forward and back just to get it in focus. My TV went from about a 48 inch to now 65.

The belly got bigger, the cholesterol went up as did the blood pressure and diet and exercise increased just to manage it.

Again, just letting out a large sigh and ruminate about it all.

Such is life these days.

I feel ya my man. I’ve been carved up like a Christmas turkey over the last 15 yrs. Came up hot only once. Got the MoHS procedure and so far so good. Good luck with yours.

Didn’t get much done yesterday…Momma needs help and need to replace a thermostat on the DiL’s car. Off to their place today.

Not sure what the current fraction/percentage is, but there's this misconception that you can have an AI Bot shadow someone for a few days and then just... take over their duties.

The part they don't tell you? Grieving needs to be set aside for whomever is managing the estate. All this executor work needs to be started right away. Whenever possible, it's best to have someone you trust but is also emotionally distanced to manage things.

That might be part of the politics. Every situation is different. I had a chance to fire someone that I wanted to fire but I didn't. I was thinking of his family etc. and figured maybe I should do a better job. The guy was a suck up and I think it cost me. In the long run I think it worked out for the best. In the long run I think it was a good decision but I am probably biased.

We all have it.... what is up is down what is thin isnt anymore 32 teeth turns into the 20s... if there is hair it is in patches... women have facial hair where they shouldnt... it is all disconcerting
