I don’t understand the words you are typing… I just don’t want to ruled by an AI who makes plastic dragons the size of fictional ones from stories & rule the human race with them…

It is a great place and we give the new folks the way we like our thread speech
We r pretty protective as even though on this site this is NOT a pick up thread
Think of it as like cheers...a bunch of friends who hang out and talk about books recipes guns cars cats farms weather.... really anything and everything
We keep religion current events drama and politics out of it
There is some innuendo at times but if u wouldnt say it to your sister or like it if some random dude said it to her dont say it here
And for all that is holy do not (danger danger danger) do not dm the women on here..... and read profiles..... get to know people before there is a decision made to come in hot

AI like many technology shifts can be good or evil. It depends on us humans as we all know too well. If it helps a sleep deprived ER staff make life saving decisions faster, I am for AI.

The same for 3D printing as making something needed medically quicker I am for it. But if used to make an untraceable gun. . . No. Again it’s up to us humans.

And remembering my younger days and mischief , well that’s for another post 😂

Not disagreeing with any of your sentiment above. But the 3D printed gun is really a myth. No one is churning out fully 3D printed guns that actually work. Some parts can be made on them, but those are the same parts being made in injection molding machines for guns currently. Any affordable 3D printer isn't making the important bits.

However, keep in mind there are A LOT of home machine shops that are capable of making those gun parts. Absolutely no one worries about the guy with a lathe and a mill in his basement. And there are A LOT of lathe's and mills stashed away in garages and basements.
