The last nip I had was the best Shine I’ve ever had. It was a blackberry concoction and as you took a nip, it went down smooth and no burn. Then when it hit your tummy, it had this weird warming effect that moved up…if that makes sense.

It went well with the peck of oysters we roasted that night.

Blackberry sounds good.

Had some Muscadine shine over the Xmas break.... no burn just warmth. Excellent

Dangerous cold (-10 to 5) coming tomorrow and this weekend! Events are canceled already. I am going to hunker down.

Currently 4F above w/ wind chill -20F below.
My appointment at 4pm is not cancelled. At that time it will be -3F with wind chills @ -33F below.
Once today's appointment and errands are done, I will be hunkered until my next appointment or errand.
It's the Annual Late January/Early February "Polar Vortex" here. We just double the layers and engage all our Common Senses

They have excellent car shows there. Ford nationals Dodge nationals Chevy nationals pick up truck show, I think they might even have an old timey car show.

And it’s only about two hours from our place.

I miss that part of Jersey living too. There are so many things around. Categories. 20 minutes from everything. 1 hour from needing to spend the night and 2 hours. All were like being in a different world.
I remember when I was just a country boy and moved up there. I could be in New York City in less than 2 hours. It was like a playground with great food.
