I had all my windows replaced and was disappointed with the drafts. They seemed the same. I like the easy open close of new windows. Haven't used that tilt feature. I like they are all double hung too. That was a nice add.Not only that, these windows are 40 years old. It's so single pain forty year old windows are not good installation.
Where is the impressed button? I would not enjoy replacing a window nor capping it once I got it in there.Thank you B2.

You go girl.
I am not satisfied I need 'new'. But there are times I wish my station on the couch had that heat knob like the seats in my car. Here isxthe new chair...there are 2!!

I really like my Marvin fiberglass wood composite. I live near a noisy road. My double panes are not the same thickness which actually did cut down on the noise not the firetrucks when the little kid in them likes the siren. On the back side I get hard sun all year. 400uv to cut down on the light. I did notice some stress on the plants. I still wish I could afford the single hand operation. Really cool, but way overkill for a little townhouse. I spent what I saved on the slide in stove. I love the extra 8" on my cook top. It will actually fit 5 13" pans on top. I don't do it often but some guests each get their own pan so dinner is served simultaneously like in a restaurant.I think that, were I doing windows from scratch, that I'd install casement windows. They seal closed and lock closed more gooderer'n anything else out there, methinks.
That is cool. You did that effortlessly.coming... soon?

I hate math tests...Finished cleaning up the snow.
For a reference, one building here has 12 foot walls. The snow on the ground is 18 inches from touching the snow on the roof.
I think the Marvin's I got [Infinity I think was the grade] Are as good or better than Andersen or Pella. And much less cost. Plus the dealer that did them was 150 per window -15 of them. Also a nice break. The doors are what are really expensive. And in this ~30year old house worth the cost. The main front and back were not simple and the guy who did it was a good craftsman. Enjoyed watching. They seal well and don't fall open or closed... I forget the brand but if someone goes outside with a bright light you cannot see it on the inside. I've seen some crappy installs. The difference after insulation upgrades provided far more comfort than the windows. The windows are still better to look at and through. The new door with top and bottom bolt and side latch are just wow. You lift on the handle and can instantly feel you are on the other side.I'm doing some budgeting for the next building. It's about time I did what I want to and not settle for what exists already.
I did that from sometime after 4 to 5:10 today. ~10 to 3:30 before it I broke up 10" ice so my neighbors trying to free their cars did not break their shovels.Hiya all- just lying in bed... contemplating, Tuesday.
I hope the week is going well.![]()
Its ok... that is what i lint brush is for... and then slip covers..... they were 130$ each.... not a huge emotional or financial investmentTDK would love to shed all over it and its mate.
What the hell....Finished cleaning up the snow.

Me too.... the chairs i adored were 2000 each..... ummm no.I am not satisfied I need 'new'. But there are times I wish my station on the couch had that heat knob like the seats in my car.
That seems like a nice community moment. I am hiding in my house. LolI did that from sometime after 4 to 5:10 today. ~10 to 3:30 before it I broke up 10" ice so my neighbors trying to free their cars did not break their shovels.
Really fun day. Those people I see that never speak are pretty cool. One of the pretty one's brought me a plate of lunch. Some kind of Saffron Chicken, white stuff wit crunchy in it - cucumbers and onions maybe? - and rice that was kind of brown with blackeyed peas and I thin a lot of dill. Iranian and appreciated I did her driveway and 2 cars.
So far no snow plow. There is a pool starting I think. The long shot is they don't make it before the next storm.
I've got my ham bone in the water and am contemplating chocolate chips so I don't fall asleep while it is on the stove. Plus, Cookie Dough!
In the spring I'm doing one casemint window for the kitchen. The problem with that is it's crank style which can lead to more problems with the crank mechanismI think that, were I doing windows from scratch, that I'd install casement windows. They seal closed and lock closed more gooderer'n anything else out there, methinks.
You're gonna be a fantastic mom!Yeah i have supplies arriving then will be headed to the rescue. Application already approved
