No, you’re right and I do recall having my e-tool in the trunk of my car for a whole. (In case I hadda get rid of somebody Something or dig myself out.)

We used to have a crazy neighbor growing up who used to make snapping turtle stew in a giant outdoor caukdron thingee. My dad used to say it was a garbage can or a 55 gallon drum.

This dude was the hillbilly of hillbillies.

You're absolutely correct about them being tighter.
They're also running them waaaaay hotter than they used to for "emission standards."

I am sure things have changed since I worked on engines or even if they have the same controls. There were no variable valve trains. The EGR was used to reduce cumbustion chamber temps to reduce NO. Then there was the air pump used to pump air into the exhaust to heat it up for the cat to work. I am switchin my oil in my Promaster to 5W 30 after reading that the 0W 20 was used mainly to increase mpg and was not so good in hot weather and heavy loads. We only reach 100 here in FL a dozen times a year or so.

Wife and I are taking a farm day off.

I do need to restock the wood stand tho. I got completely cleaned out again last night and now that I got plowed (Missk, dkak, L2?) we can fill it up this morning.

Meeting one of my old national guard army buddies and his wife out half way to their place for lunch and run a few errands. This is the same couple we went to punxatawny with last year for Groundhog Day, which was a boatload of fun.

He recently lost his job and Altho retired, he is struggling with what to do next. His wife confided to me that it feels like when he first came back from deployment and she is a bit worried about him, so we’ll spend some QT w them today and catch up.
