We have a friend who used to post here long ago. I say "we" because she'd like you and would have included you in her/our Reindeer Games. She is a postmaster in MA and was down here visiting with her kids. I got a certified letter that wasn't even attempted to be delivered. They just left the card in the mailbox. So, pain in my ass it was, I went to the post office and retrieved it, complaining that it was a no-knock "delivery." I was told how wrong I was. It felt great being able to say "the postmaster of {blank} is visiting me for the week and was there when the alleged attempted delivery occured, and she says it didn't happen."

All kinds of up was shutted from that side of the counter.

New england clam chowder
Swedish meatball casserole
Cottage pie (i didnt have everything so i mixed together some hamburger veggies and put some worst sauce beef broth a squirt of no sugar ketchup ( no tomatoe paste) and some herbs: cooked it down covered it in left over mashed potatoes and put some cheese on top and threw in the oven
Cut up strawberries
Made dads bed
And i am tired

To borrow another line from JB…”I’ve been battling hotel maids…chewing on Rollaids…count’n the hours till I get home…”. Three more days. Got nothing on Boat’s Hitch’s, but still. Breaking back in to the grind…not fun.

So here’s to warmer days, no Ice (watch yerself there Wat), and hot coffee…which BTW, wasn’t in the hotel room this a.m., so had to stumble downstairs looking like something the cat drug in to beg for pods. When you need a maid…they ain’t never around.

Have a great weekend…it is the weekend right? For you normal types? Have fun.
