I had another very productive day again! I FINALLY got the Christmas stuff down and packed away. Now, the boxes are just waiting for my helper to carry them downstairs where I'll tetris them into their closet under the stairs.

The village is still up. I'm not sure when it will come down.

Tomorrow is gym day. I missed last week as my trainer was ill with the flu. She's going to destroy me!

My ex-wife and I have bought a house in 1998 and I had an open pit well with a rudimentary cover over it. I rebuilt it, but they were literally frogs and other animals living in it.

At one point, the iron pipe leading to the house broke and it just made more sense to have a well drilled.

That was a saga in of itself and we ended up going something like seven or eight days without water. Thank God for our neighbors!

Then there are the outhouses. My uncle's neigbor had a two seat, brick out house! I shit you not!

We have a suit at HQ that adheres to this mantra! . He’s the Vp to the Veep or something or other. Been there for years, so I assume he does a good job of ass kissing.

When we go back for yearly Reeducation Camp, he’s always in the corner with his clipboard (actually now an iPad) and when the chief gets a hot topic question, he punts to “Rick” who then, will type furiously into his iPad, with a stern look on his face.

He never gets back to you…

The funny thing is, during big events, they’ll send him out on the road to help grease the skids. He still has that damn iPad tucked under his arm!

Well that's another game season finished . Its R and R time for me and the boys. Its been a great season with Jack doing brilliantly. Ben's injury took a bit of the edge off but it amazes me the boys dont get more injuries.

Now I have 20 days on the merse for geese and a week hunting boar in Spain next week. I do love the merse and times like this morning in the mud just hoping for a shot and enjoying the solitude. Just me and Sam!

Brother, yer living my dream! What caliber are you using for the Boar hunt? Do they use dogs in Spain?

Anyhow, please post some pics of that trip. We had a Boar hunt planed in Hungary, but the young Capt putting it together redeployed before we got the chance. I keep say’n…I’m going to go back…
