I am taking the laptop to the good shop here that will scan and clean. I drop it off tomorrow and pick it up Monday.

Fortunately the iPhone is not affected. So I can come here. My money is safe now.

The lesson is learned. My GF feels bad but it’s not her fault. Her phone also was not affected. 😮‍💨

Going straight down a flat stretch of road 55mph (of course our roads are glare ice always) the ass end shot out from under me. This is with Blizzak tires on the thing. If it weren't for my cat like reflexes, I might not be here.

There, that's off my chest now. I feel better.

But this weekend might be time to send some emails. I know a few guys, and maybe they can pass the word along. The sales/repair/warranty/whateverthefucktheythinktheyare guys in the local dealership are fucking useless.

This is one of my buildings. This building has 12' walls. This snow has been untouched by the hand of man.

This is mother nature just trying to crush my shit.

The truck keeps saying there's an update. So I click "Download Update", and the very next screen
is that there are no updates at this time. EVERY SINGLE TIME I START THE TRUCK.

Been to the dealer 10 times over this software shit. "We're being told not to do any updates..."

Real soon, I'm going to find the radio module and disable it. They don't need to know where I am, or how I drive, or break my truck worse. Once that warranty is up, this thing is going radio silent... Big brother can take his update and 1984 them right up his ass!

(OK, apparently I'm not done bitching about this... :LOL )

You guys up north know how to drive in the ice and snow. But shit like throwing out of 4 WD at 55 MPH is dangerous. I am glad you know how to dance on ice.

It might the time to trade in that dangerous truck.

BTW those south of you even with AWD forgot about the laws of friction. Spin outs everywhere!😮

The steps I scraped off and then swept. So if they make it from the driveway without breaking their neck they can get up the steps. Some of the more sensationalized weekend forecasts are for 30-50mph gusts. I am hoping they are wrong.

Fortunately no money actually left my account. My banks fraud department caught the suspicious activity and stopped the transaction.

According to my computer guy, the attack was designed only on desk or laptop computers. My phone was not infected. But 2 factor authentication stopped it as they don’t have my phone number.

I’m still not sure how they got as far as they did. I might know more later today.
