We used the freight elevator at Dr. Tyler's yesterday. Not heavily or abusively, but we used it. Seems it has now crapped out, just like elevator #1. Three elevators in a senior living highrise and they're down to one which is working.


They have a quote of $450,000.00 to rebuild all of them. This is while parts (think: electronics) for the 40 year old machines can still be had.


Mere words fail to describe adequately how much I want to be out of that building once and for all.
