The Car Data Network connects all the bits to the central computer. To make life easier and to prevent single points of failure, the network isn't broken up so all the door locks are on the lock part of the network, and the starter is on the engine part of the network. If you can break the tail light, plug into the network, and then say "hi! Im the nee key fob reader, and I say open the doors," the computer doesn't think it strange and pops the locks. Now, there are cryptographic keys that make this more difficult than my short explanation, but if you can grab that key when the fob transmitted it over radio...

I would love To tour those battlefields one day.

I been to the wilderness/chancellorsville, Antietam and Gettysburg.

I’ve been to most in VA and NC, Gettysburg, which was awe inspiring, but Antietam is the one I’m lacking. I want to volunteer to help light the luminarias (one for every soul lost) the couple of weeks before Christmas. Shelby Foote, the historian featured in the PBS Civil War series said he never fully understood the numbers until he drove over the hill and saw the battlefield bathed in soft candle light, almost 15k luminarias.

It worked! I am walking amongst the living…but I never made it to the pretty Presbyterian Chapel in the pines…

Watched the granddaughter all day yesterday, surprise drop off attack from son #1. Had a tea party and we packed a suit case to go to the airport…over and over and over…

The Carolina/Duke game didn’t disappoint, it never does, and then flamed out early. Sunny, cold…need to run get a card for momma…I don’t think the little note on the Sherrie’s Berries quite does it?

You couldn’t have said it better. My adult son has autism and at times feels alone but he gets help, counseling and meds. It is on him and not us.

My youngest is on the scale. I do worry about him. I have some empathy for the poster a few pages back as I can almost guarantee he’s in a similar situation. I was going to respond but MissK did a damn fine job of it.

If he does wander back around. I’ll only add this. Don’t know what you did or said to get the attitude adjustment, but if you want to make it right…Feel sorry for yourself for a hot minute, get OVER it, evaluate, come back and mea culpa for said offense, then slowly come back around and MAKE FRIENDS…and read all the rules FFS…

Didn’t see it live but got an update on espn…they airlifted her off the hill (standard procedure they said and don’t read into it,) she hurt her GOOD knee, in lots of pain, but no update on extent of her injury.

They did say it wasn’t the restructured knee that was the cause. She caught a pole on the gate and got her sideways on a very challenging hill. She also re-injured her restructured knee a few days ago…

My whole plan for being a male hOOr got shot to hell because I met Mrs. wonder pretty soon after I got divorced.

Separated in January 2012, met Mrs wonderer April 2012 and then officially divorced in June 2012.

It’ll happen pretty quickly, but we had an amicable divorce.
