The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Now look.... we tell everyone the same spiel when new to the thread. Everyone is willing to come, and contribute. We all hold eachother accountable. If that makes you uncomfortable that is on you. If you were told to "stop it" the correct response is my bad and we keep it moving. This gaslighting crap isnt gonna fly. If u decide to leave and want to try to guilt trip the rest of us to say....no please stay... you will be sorely disappointed.
Now. Again. Read the first post of the entire damn thread and comply or do what u have to do and you are wished well
You couldn’t have said it better. My adult son has autism and at times feels alone but he gets help, counseling and meds. It is on him and not us.

That sounds like fun!

I’ve had a few ideas for sketches and I even submitted a tv idea to NBC several years ago. They had an online notes submission where they were looking for show ideas.

My show was gonna be called AL. And it was semi autobiographical. A comedy about a veteran coming home to a divorce and navigating the world of corporate America (or working class America) and misadventures of reintegrating into dating.
My son in law could contribute. As a former marine having served in Afghanistan and Iraq, having had death threats, he navigated his way to a good career with the electric company, found my daughter, married her and they have 2 wonderful children. But not all his buddies have had such a life after service.

Overcoming lonely apartness is an Inside Job. The first step(s) to solving a "situation" is first to identify the issue and then to own the damned thing. Don't blame the planet for the results of your doings.
I always taught my daughter “accountability and responsibility “. You gotta own it!

I wish ones better at mutiquite but I always use my phone.

Nice! One of these days when a few other home projects are done I'd like to learn to grow my own indoor microgreens.
It’s not too hard. We grow lettuce and greens year round. You can get a small set up for maybe $100. You don’t need to go all out.

We need to do this Out West. I need to pick a spot and then horse-proof it. And goat proof. Those little fuckers will eat everything.
Goats are great at eradicating poison ivy. My ex father-in-law rented a couple goats when they lived in North Carolina, specifically eat the poison ivy.

Rent a goat. There’s an idea!

The indoor set ups are inexpensive and you can have fresh greens all year round.

These plants are pretty rough because we had them outside near three-quarter season room and they got frozen.

Here’s the shelving system we got yesterday. Speaking of which we have to start planting marigolds, they take quite a while to grow and before you know it, it will be spring and will be selling plant seedlings at our farmstand.

The timer and wiring etc. caught my attention! Looks like mine! When I lived in PA the farm down the road from started with a small stand and grew into multiple green houses. They were Amish but had a great business going.
