The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

It turned out to be a tough week unusually. I had only one chance at a boar that came in over my right shoulder that I missed. My pal didn’t even get a shot. Onetheless it was a great experience and I will be back for another try next year!
Glad you had a good trip even if you worked for it.
Better luck next year.
That's the correct order, but maybe Gracie doesn't answer the door just yet.
Just a matter of time really...
Took 3.tries to send expense report...said error with no explanation and standard work document was useless
coder mentioned 3 users were missing a specific piece of data on their account. I asked if he had the user IDs so I could review...
he sent me a spreadsheet with almost FIVE THOUSAND USERS
Sir! 🤨 *taps foot*
This looks very... porcelain god gone wrong fever dream 😬
Check out the wind. This thing really does look like a hurricane. A few more mph and it would be a blizzard. Blizzard is 80mph right?

I expect a full report after you eat some on my desk at 0600 the next morning.
Based on his response to just the written recipe... he may need a little "alone time" first  😂
It's the chocolate, right? That's why I want to go...
Well, I'm allergic to Swiss Cheese (for realzies)
Dark Chocolate* for the win
*80% and up... none of that sweet-ass 60% crap

Last question. Do you make gravy with it? I always liked gravy with it. Speaking from the old days when you could sit up at the bar in the Rexall or Woolworth's and have some of the best meatloaf ever.

No gravy. I use more of the marinara if I feel that it needs a dash of something during consumption.

Putting catsup on Tactical Meatloaf will get a skank shanked.

I like those.

We just picked up a new blue outback. Little bit bigger, but nice for longer trips.

I'm so torn on what I think about the CVT. I'm getting used to it, now shifts in the truck feel harsh.

Gets well over 30 on the highway. Kinda gutless when passing, but no turbos to worry about in 3-5 years.
I've had a Sube Xtrek with a CVT since 2015. That one had a 2000 cc engine and it didn't seem that gutless passing, but I'm on Alaskan roads. This new wilderness rig has a 4.11 final drive ratio which will make the thing a LOT zippier over the standard models with the 3.70 final drive.

The CVT is just like a snowmachine belt drive.

Urgh. Long day and night.

I got my fucking truck stuck at the farm at lunchtime today trying to refill the wood stand.

Lady on Saturday voice saying “we depend on you” made me feel obligated to keep it stocked, esp since people are mostly out of wood. Anyway, couldn’t get the tractor started so I was stuck. Kudos to neighbor who bailed me out after work and got me unstuck.

But I promised my buddy who’s disabled I would clear his driveway. He lives abt 20’miles north of me. So got home, loaded the snowblower, trekked up there and got his driveway cleared. Someone had driven over the snow. Come to find out he had to call 911 cuz he couldn’t move. So his driveway is mostly cleared when he comes back home.

Hope he’s ok. He’s in a tough spot.

Long day and night. I’m glad this one is in the books.
