It was a little off the hook for a little bit. We wound up at a whiskey bar..

He is a very funny guy and I haven’t seen him in about 20 years. Stories were told whiskey was drunk.

And so was I.

To the next destination tomorrow

Good whiskey and good conversations with an old friend! It always seems that the a little extra Jack is consumed on my end.

Now I know why the Fairfield Inn I was staying at last night was 150 bucks. Trucks engine breaking all night, a nearby airport.

Money well spent!

I am thinking back to the different times and locations that coffee was the center of a routine at the beginning of the day. First was in the missile site in the Air Force. I was 18. Then it was at a different base in the coffee shop down stairs, standing at at a table with several of us in the same squadron. It has progressed over timto being on Lit and looking at OM's post which bring a smile to my face.

Happy Friday!!! Got my early morning call after a very late night, so sleep was interrupted. Which is okay, because nap later at some point.

Outta town. We may have the heat turned up just a touch too high. Tactical heat settings are annoying. TDK never complains. Of course, TDK has a fur coat, so there's that.

Since i stopped drinking coffee, I have had a cup with the lady of the house because it smells so good.
Problem is I don't think I slept more than an hour that night.
My big jolly now is waiting for lunch and heavily lacing my salad with Pomegranate berries. Its like a massive sugar bomb without the shock. I like the extra pop I get when I have the country french salad dressing too. Really makes my day.
