The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Love this idea. Forwarded it to my working half. She doubts the Fed will go for it. Even if she is not getting paid at present.
Where I went to college, bar time on Fri/Sat was 2:30am... fall back happens at 2am... bars hated daylight savings with a fucking passion!!

In SC bars close at midnight on Saturday night. If you were a member of a private club it was 1 or 2 I forget. But the club I was member of made it a party. Some years there was an oyster roast others they had chicken bog to stave off the possibility of hang overs due to the extra hour. Small town. So all the bartenderettes were our friends. I had an apartment across the way. Most other Saturday nights there was a party at my house. The guy that rented one of the extra bedrooms was sous chef at a local Italian restaurant. Great left overs and unused stuff

Since then or until now I haven't had a chance to use the time change like that. Changing on Friday is a great idea! When I worked in big pharma we didn't need it. Once time sprang forward, we worked extra during the week and left at lunch on Friday. Which was double bonus for me. I worked at home more than not. I left for the shore on Thursday after work and would get up and drive home before work on Mon or Tues to show my face in the office.
 
I tried a few different Tennessee whiskeys today at a distillery. I’m not whiskey conni-sewer but it’s nice and smooth.

A little less fiery tasting than bourbon.
I picked up a bottle of molé flavored rum today. No real sweetness to it. I prolly wouldn't have picked it up, but they had a tasting. It's something that's sip-able like a whisky and bitters cocktail.
