She's going to love it! I'm so Jelous! I can sit out and watch the ocean slide by all day long. Give me a ship and a tall star to steer (or something like that) If Jo doesn't want to go, I'll go with you. You know... to edit your stories. Or sumpin'It looks fun to watch! I'd lose my breakfast flying in one. LOL, but I get seasick walking up the gangplank or across the little bridge into a ship. I've been saving money to buy an Alaskan cruise for our anniversary next year. Jo, my lovely, talented, and way out-of-league wife, will shit bricks when I do. Why, you ask? Good question. I finally told her about my fears and phobias about flying, riding behind her at breakneck speeds on the motorcycle, and being on the ocean. But I do love her so, so she should get her way at least some of the time.
Really? How do you drink coffee while doing aerobatics? Maybe a squeeze tube? This was my Saturday morning watching while having coffee.

I build external USB drives with a SSD drive (they're getting really cheap - 500GB for $30) and a $20 drive enclosure. We used to spend $300 on the same thing not long agoI bought a hard drive docking station thinking the new PC would be too small to have space for hard drives, but it isn't that small

It was! And we were very lucky. That's the RAAF Roulettes acrobatic team, flying Pilatus PC-21's. They were heading to Mildura for an air show, and came via here to do a 10.30am practice over the bay. At 9.30, it was raining, 10 it cleared up, and at 11.30 the rain came back.It looks fun to watch! I'd lose my breakfast flying in one. I didn't have to buy any new drives. The two-bay dock will take HDD, SSD, 2.5 inch or 3.5 inch, for $34.I build external USB drives with a SSD drive (they're getting really cheap - 500GB for $30) and a $20 drive enclosure. We used to spend $300 on the same thing not long ago
If possible, DO NOT book passage where Vancouver, Canada is a beginning or ending port.It looks fun to watch! I'd lose my breakfast flying in one. Um, why?If possible, DO NOT book passage where Vancouver, Canada is a beginning or ending port.
The only reason I can think of (since Vancouver itself is a thoroughly charming, handsome cosmopolitan city) is that if you are a US citizen you would need to go through customs. A cruise from a US port eliminates that aspect of traveling.Um, why?
Lucky you! I've been to a few air shows and loved them.If possible, DO NOT book passage where Vancouver, Canada is a beginning or ending port.

Impressive display.
Doesn't the RAAF fly C-17s the size of a humpback whale between office buildings or perform the "Zippo" and light 1000 liters of jettisoned jet fuel with their F-111's anymore? That's the RAAF I remember. It was! And we were very lucky. That's the RAAF Roulettes acrobatic team, flying Pilatus PC-21's. You look so shiny!Do I look younger? Sleeker? Faster?
I'm on the new PC, but I have a bit more setup to do.
Use your shades if you have to.You look so shiny!
No, you're thinking of the Hercs. The C17's are used for scaring roos away from the airbase.Doesn't the RAAF fly C-17s the size of a humpback whale between office buildings or perform the "Zippo" and light 1000 liters of jettisoned jet fuel with their F-111's anymore? That's the RAAF I remember.
The RAAF decommissioned the Pigs a decade ago, maybe more. You're right though, seeing a low level after-burn, that's impressive!Doesn't the RAAF fly C-17s the size of a humpback whale between office buildings or perform the "Zippo" and light 1000 liters of jettisoned jet fuel with their F-111's anymore?
