New year's resolutions....

Do you make any?

I haven't for decades now but this year I have very specific desire to improve my mental game.

No it isn't the normal eat better, exercise more, drink less kind of improvement but more on a personal level.

I want to better learn how to live in the moment, enjoy the NOW more instead of always thinking "what next".

For me it's about setting healthy boundaries. For years I've been focused on work. Doing everything I could to complete everything.
Now, after a massive health scare, I'm resetting my expectations and what it means to live. I'm finding contentment. Enjoying things. Not everything is a check box. And surprisingly, "no" is a complete sentence.

Finally after two days and 5 football games we finally get to watch. Three games on Christmas and 2 Saturday. That unless you have three different streaming services you can't watch. Who is going to get Netflix Paramount and peacock just to watch the NFL. But don't forget you also need ESPN and you tube. So it is about 500 dollars a year to watch now. That's bullshit . Just had to bitch

I had the football package a couple of years ago on DirecTV it cost so much I thought they should have bought me dinner before they fucked me. Then I got to enjoy the red zone channel more than the football package . You got tired of flipping from game to game. That got expensive since direct TV lost the football package to You tube. . I wish the NFL was loyal to their fans and not sell every game to the highest bidder

I'm cheap and refuse to pay. It's really frustrating (especially MLB). I live 10 miles from a MLB and an NFL stadium and don't get to watch much. I get their job is to make money....but watching millionaires play for billionaires it loses its luster

I am 3 hours away from closest professional sports stadium.
The nfl blackout rules are understandable. MLB, NBA blackout rules baffle me

Grew up in the shadow of the eagles Phillies and flyers stadiums. Played football from Peewee to highschool. Played hockey and baseball. So sports have always been apart of life . Worked for a Philadelphia newspaper so it was sports 365 days a year . So watching sports is religion. Don't watch professional basketball now those players are premadonnas . Guess I only liked to play contact spots so baseball and basketball wasn't much fun

It was a little harsh reality. Monday after a long weekend...had a 6 hour in person meeting!!

We have this meeting once a month and normally it's 8 hours! And yes, it's the definition of counter productive!
