It’s interesting but kind of fucked up … these kinds of deep fakes are becoming so common. If they’re doing it for art purposes and not inferring anything new about the person in question .. then I think it’s ok.

Even if they’re doing it for art… the person they’re using can’t give consent. I guess their estate could, but if I were famous, I wouldn’t want anyone making up answers to interview questions for me after I was dead.

Idk, those technologies just scare me in general. Wait until the first election commercial where they make the opposition say something they never did. How damaging would that be even if they can prove it’s a fake quickly? You know it’s coming.
