The Battle of Good Vs. Evil

Eve

She moved to stand behind Cristian, She was going to give it her best. She had never done this before, but she was going to channel her powers through him. Hopefully aiding in the barrier. She placed her hands on his shoulders from behind, her head resting forward on his back. She focused on all she had inside, and shot it through Cristian. White hot beams moved from her hands through and out his.
"Its-working!" She gave more, put more into it. The barrier strengthened and rose higher, slowly circling the beasts. She watched in amazement as Cristian used the extra power to trap them.
The Tarasque attacked with all its might, hitting harder and harder onto the dome shaped barrier, and each time he bellowed in agony. His temper rising, Eve could feel it. It just urged her on to send as much power as she could possibly give.
"Crush the dome Cristian! crush them into nothing.. It will work?" She was not used to using this kind of power, and she hadnt been in a battle since she came to Heaven. She knew it wouldnt be much longer before she wouldn't be any use to Cristian.

Cristian wanted to look back at the angel- to tell her that it was something he couldn't do but he knew that if he didn't then everyone in the school, the people that he had planned to help would be killled. He closed his eyes and with a sigh slowly closed his hands and listened as the dome began to slowly close in on itself. He heard the screams as the dome closed and opened his eyes to see the destruction that he was causing before him.

He didn't want to do this but he knew that he had no other choice and with a great wave of power closed the ball of energy. There was a sudden explosion and when Cristian opened his eyes he saw that the ball had gone, the demons gone with it. He started to turn around but before he could he felt every bit of energy leave his body and he fell to the ground.

Eve

She watched the dome slowly descend on the hoard of creatures. It was working! She didn’t feel great happiness. Killing wasn’t good, no matter who or what is was. But she felt relief, they were safe. For now. She ducked behind Cristian as the globe exploded, wiping away all evidence of the attacking mob. She trembled, her hands leaving Cristian. She was worn out, but not completely. Her face was sweaty and her hands shook, she placed them on her semi-bent thighs and just tried to breathe in and out. Relaxing the best she could. That was intense. Cristian tried to turn but collapsed to the ground.
"Oh No! Cristian?" She moved down to her knees, shaking him softly. He was out; He had used all his strength to stop those horrific beats from slaying them all. She turned to Thomas.
"Help me get him safely below, then I want you to set up a perimeter around the school. Arm everyone with weapons. And watch for anyone we can have aid us." She stood up, she felt light headed and tired, but she wasn’t giving in to that feeling. She had things to do, people to help, and one fallen Angel. She looked down at him with wonderment. This was very unexpected, and she bet Lucifer herself would be searching for this one. She had Thomas and another male lift him.
"Careful with him!"
She led them down the hallways, still she checked every other step or so behind the group. She was weary now, waiting for something, anything to jump out at them.
She didn’t take Cristian down into the bomb shelter; she took him into the old office room.
Walking into the nurses’ area, she pulled out the foldaway bed and opened it up.
"Lay him on here, and go back to watching all the entrances for danger." her voice was a little quiet and reserved.
She pulled up a chair and sat down, looking over Cristian's features. Her mind working non-stop trying to figure out why?
"Cristian?" She would remain here as long as she could, hoping to get answers. What if he was a spy sent here to trap them? She had to know.

Lucifer:

I laughed manically. The sound resounded throughout earth.

THis was for the good of all immortal beings, the humans were corrupting them and God's views. THey had to be stopped.

The earth became very very silent, the river flowed eerily through towns and cities. No noise but the bubbling of the surface.

The next stage was to bring the rest of hell to earth. I felt some sort of wierd force being brought forth. It wasn't something I was familiar with, but it was evil.

It struck me then that I had to approach this all differently. "Bring hell to earth, and make earth as sweet as can be. Bring their dreams to haze their visions on the earth" (devil speak=hell is still coming and to distract them illusions of their most peaceful dreams would come to fill the earth, only it is an illusion, it would seem to be perfect, whole, undisturbed...earth that is)

THat is when I heard the voice of St. Peter. He wanted to help me. Oh he would....I brought him with me to the illusioned earth, the birds were chirping, the grass was green, the world quiet with the smell of lilacs.

I turned to St. Peter. "You will not just serve any army, stay with me. I may want your expertise, you have, after all been in heaven as of late..."

I waved to the illusion, he looked at it, confused, when he turned back to me, my robe was white, my hair white once again, but my smile just as evil as before. My voice was calming...a false false calm, I was the master of lies and deception after all.

"Humans believe what they want, and only resist when they feel threatened, the angels won't be needed if the humans don't want them...."

I smiled evilly, "You remember this don't you?" I refered to how I had masked my appearance to that of my innocent angel days. "Now, we let hell appear, and the humans be non the wiser."

"welcome to hell Peter."

Eve

Thomas came to her, asking her to come outside a moment. See what had happened. She slowly rose from her seat, Cristian was still asleep.
She followed him outside and stopped in amazement. Everything was as it was before Hell descended here. She knew instantly it was Lucifer and her tricks again.
"This isnt real Thomas, It may look real. It may feel and even smell real. But it isnt as you see it."
Eve closed her eyes and once more opened them. Before her it was back to the desructive scene it was, it was back to reality. She knew Thomas couldnt see what she saw, but she turned to him.
"You must not let Satan lead you astray, or your soul will be hers. See this for what it is. Nothing but iceing over a rotted maggot filled cake, Thomas. Nothing more." She turned and walked back into the school. She turned back at the doorway.
"Stil, be on guard. I know she isnt done. She is far from done here."
She walked down the hall, coming across Sarah and her doll.
"Good evening Sarah, and how are you today?"
Sarah looked up at Eve and smiled.
"All is well, Mommy sent me away while she was nursin those hurted guys. So I came up here."
Even knelt down to her eye level and pulled her close.
"You must not leave the school Sarah, ever. It isnt safe outside those doors. It is only safe in here.. understand sweetie? There are bad guys out there."
Sarah nodded her head, and smiled at Eve.
She really hoped the little girl understood her. She looked down at Sarah again.
"Would you like to see another angel my pet?" Sarah nodded enthusiasticly.
"Come along then, but you must be as quiet as a chruch mouse, ok?" She nodded again and picked up her doll.
Eve thought perhaps a childs innocent will help calm her nerves. She needed Cristian to waken soon, to find out what he was doing there. Why he aided them. Perhaps his soul wasnt as dark as she was told?
She didnt feel the evil in him when she touched him. Perhaps, she stopped there. She shouldnt be thinking about this. She needed to stay alert for more trouble. And she needed to find Michael.
She entered the office and sat back down with Sarah on her lap, watching Cristian. He was in a deep sleep, and unable to hear them.
She glanced at the clock, he had been sleeping for hours, and still not a movement. She knew he wasnt dead, If he had died he would have vanished into thin air.
She whispered to Sarah "Go back down into the shelter and get some dinner my pet. I'll be down soon." She kissed her forehead and sent her on her way.
Eve knelt on the floor next to the bed and placed her hands on his chest. Perhaps he needed some energy?
Eve concentrated and started to use her hands to give him what he needed. She was told of all these things she could do, once. Along time ago. She knew she had a healing touch, perhaps she could help Cristian?
She sat for awhile concentrating her power into him, but still did not get any signs he was waking. Finally she let go of him and laid down on the cool floor. Her face covered in sweat and herself drained. She needed to sleep for a few hours.
Her eyes drifted shut, but she kept her ears open for anything.

Frank and St. George landed on the concrete floor of the old office, being used as a hospital. They both winced in pain for a moment until realizing it had worked, they were out of Limbo. "I told ya Georgie, sometimes you just have to take risks!" "Yes and to think I spent so long in that wreched place, but where are we now?" "Earth, apparently a school." "What odd architecture, I see the world has changed since I roamed the continent." "Actually we're in America I believe." "What is America?" "I'll explain later, George."

Frank got to his feet and caught a glance at Chrisitan being treated by several nurses and an angel. Frank tapped George on the shoulder, "That's the guy that tried to save me from being sucked into Limbo!" Frank came forward and spoke to the angel, "Anything I can do to help?"

Meanwhile at Lucifer's side, Peter had just been accepted in to her dark army. He reached into his pocket and handed Lucifer a box, "Please accept this gift as a pledge of loyalty to you." He opened the box slightly to reveal its contents, the keys to the Lord's gates. "Why burn the gates down when we can simply open them?"

OOC: The birds chirping and children singing was a nice touch.

Eve

occ: Cristian is only being treated by eve. :)

IC:
She lifted her head and looked at the two strangers who appeared out of no where? Well apparently it was no where.
"H-Hello? May I help you?" She still felt weak and drained.
She eyed the two, masking her thoughts in an instant.
"Friend or Foe?" She reached for her dagger strapped to her thigh. Waiting for declaration.

OOC: Sorry about that, I was referring to the nurses that I guess are in another room.

Frank raised his hands in the air, "If your a friend of his we're on the same side." St. George started to grumble, "My word, a woman wielding a weapon! Has the world gone mad?" Frank put his hand over George's mouth, "Remind me to update you on the current events of the last thousand years."

Frank redirected his attention over to the daggar wielding woman, "My name is Frank and this is St. George. That guy tried to help me from getting sucked into Limbo but St. Peter, who had recently possesed me and turned evil, stopped him and escaped."

Eve

She relaxed her arm, stood up.
"Well it is nice to meet you Frank, St. George. Cristian helped me save this building from being destroyed, but drained all his powers doing it. I am watching over him until he awakens. You are welcome to wait here with me if you like? I havent had a real conversation since I got here. And why were you going to limbo?" Then she stopped and thought.
"Saint Peter has traded sides?!" She paced the room.
"Some one has to be told as soon as possible!"
She turned back to Frank."Do you know who Michael is? The Arch Angel Michael? Someone needs to find him for me.." She had to think, how was she to get this information to someone who could deal with it?

Frank answered Eve's questions, "Peter was crooked from the beginning. After being turned down by Satan the first time, we were transported to heaven where God casted us down. We met up with the devil again and I shot her in the neck, causing her to hurl me through a few buildings. As you know when a soul can't go to either heaven or hell, they are pulled by the shadows down into Limbo. Peter escaped, I didn't." George suddenly stopped, "Oh dear, Peter still has the keys to the gates on him!! If he approaches the gates, he can just waltz right into heaven. Frank we must located Michael immediatly!" "Alright, I guess we're heading out Eve." Before Michael left he gave Eve a quick wink and followed George.

"George how are we supposed to locate Michael?" "I'm his brother in war, since I'm back in this world I can sense where he is." "Cool. Hey George, why were you cast into Limbo?" George was silent for a minute, "I don't want to talk about it right this minute, I'll concentrate on finding Michael, you inform me about the history of earth since I left it."

Cristian let out a slight moan and began to sit up slowly. As soon as he did he wished that he hadn't as his head began to spin. He leaned forward so that his head would stop spinning and then looked over to see the two new people standing there talking to the angel and realized that one of them was the human that he had tried to save from being sucked into limbo. They were having a spirited conversation and he didn't want to spoil it for them.

He swung his feet around and put them onto the floor and looked at the two people and then at the angel. He cleared his throat and said, "Excuse me for interrupting here but can you please tell me how you got out of limbo and what has happened after I blacked out."

Eve

She turned around at his voice, and seen Cristian sitting upright again. She was still worried about all three of them, and their reason for being there. She didnt want to let her guard down long enough to probe into their minds.
"Well, I do not know about how they got out of Limbo. As far as I knew it was not possible to leave. And Peter has changed sides. Oh, and on a second note. Lucifer has.. well? You should go outside and see for yourself. Everything is no longer destroyed to the human eye, She created the appearance of peace and tranquility out there."

Eve moved and sat down. She was tired, and getting cranky.
"Frank and George were going to locate Michael. Peter has the key to Heaven's Gate on him. Could or should I say, Will be very bad? We need to get that key from Peter, If we can find him."

Eve rubbed her temples, she was developing a splitting headache.
"We have to decide who is going to find Michael. It actaully would have to be Frank and George. Or me. Michael would not listen to you Cristian. Michael would know how to prevent this, and where to find Peter. Or at least have the authority to send someone to find Peter."

She turned to Frank "Out of curiousity, How did you know I was an angel?" This sparked her interest, since she had her wing hidden, and she was dressed as a Human.

ooc: Okay, I will play her myself until someone else can take her over...and Lava? Alexander ALWAYS feels threatened, he was fragging BORN that way. ;)

IC:

Alexander Dragonheart

*After laughing at that Joke....And several hours more of hard driving, they found themselves before very very imposing trees...thousands of feet high, the redwoods that stood guard outside of the grove looked like a grand and unscaleable fence...alexander stepped out of the Hummer, wearing his long black trenchcoat with the ornate Chinese dragon on the back, Baggy black jeans, an a tattered black Tank Top, with the dragon tear necklace..he hefted his shotgun over his shoulder, and headed towards the forest a few hundred yards away...His intense emerald eyes narrowed in suspicion...*

ITs quiet...Too damn quiet....Keep on your guard....

*He glanced about...A quiet breath of wind ruffled his hair....his ears immediatly perked...then the cop could hear it too...*

who goes there...

*It was no more than an ominous whisper...Alexander hefted the shotgun up...glancing around him*

Its me! Alexander!!! That you Marista?

*There seemed to be surprised muttering amongst the trees...HE seemed to hear somthing The leuitennent didnt...and he called out*

He is a friend! He wont hurt the forest!! I promise!!!

*He gave him a very urgent gesture to back it up by saying it himself..*

The Tarasque Lord marched before his army. They had nearly 200 miles to cover. He had set the army up in a defensive mode, so it would take nearly a week to arrive.

LUCIFER:

I smiled greatly at St. Peter. The keys of heaven laid at my fingertips.

"Oh, you just made me very happy Peter."

Grabbing both sides of his face with seductive fingertips, I kissed him fully on the mouth. He began drawing power from me, not draining me, just taking power from hell. I would make him powerful, for the keys to heaven were invaluable.

My tounge flicked out in temptation just as I pulled away, I smiled evilly. I bowed slightly to him, "welcome commander."

He had just risen ranks beyond what anyone had ever become in such a short time.

I took the key, and laid it on my tongue, for dramatics, I swallowed it. I could ask for it to appear any time, it just seemed more effective this way.

I smiled at the peaceful outdoors. "DOn't get used to it Peter. You can however, get used to this..." I said referring to myself.

Peter elated me, I, Lucifer, had the keys to heaven, had control of the river Styx, hell was coming to earth, and anyone who got trapped in hell would be mine forever....

and as we spoke, the Angel of Peace came to me.

Hostage.

Very very precious one...no peace could ever be found if I destroyed her....or ransomed her.

AMBROSIA:

I had located her, prayed to find her. ANd there, before me she stood, her appearance startling, she looked like the angel that served the lord, though her eyes showed her true self. The world had changed instantly, for she had sugar coated it with false peace.

"Lucifer, In the Name of God, I shall take your unrest."

"What?! The tides of war cannot change that fast!" he roared. Wrathlance disappeared, leaving the army to march on. He appeared behind Ambrosia. Thankfully, demons had the power to move through Hell at whichever peed they chose, and as Hell was on Earth, he had chosen the speed of light. He grabbed Ambroasia with all of his tentacles, wrapping around her. "This is the peacebringer who is destined to kill you!" yelled Wrathlance.

Frank scratched his head pondering his answer, "Well Eve to be honest with you, I'm not really sure how I knew you're an angel, I just kinda did. As far as our escape from Limbo, we jumped off of a floating rock and we were falling for a long time. Then I remember a white light surrounding us and poof, we're here." St. George stroked his grey beard, "Well there is one resonable explanation for his sudden bought of knowledge. We must have been blessed by the Lord, perhaps the light in Limbo was the hand of God, saving us. As far as Michael goes, I'm trying to locate him, as a saint I have a sixth sense for locating those who are with god. For some reason though, I can't feel him, not anywhere."

Back in hell...Peter was beaming as he enjoyed the power Lucifier had given him, and the kiss wasn't bad either. He put his hand around her hip as he asked her, "I am here to serve you, shall I rally some of the troops?"

OOC: What is the current hierarchy among the hell creatures? Is Michael still in hell?

Ooc: Michael never was in hell, but then again if hell is on earth, I suppose he is there now then.

Michael looked at his troops, they were all staring at the golden hills and flowers poking through.
"How do you fight illusions?"
Michael cracked his knuckles, raising a few feet in the air. At once he held a small ball of energy in his hands. He threw it at what looked like an ordinary, but spectcaular, hill. At once it exploded, leaving behind only remnants of New York. Dark, gloomy, disgusting.
Perfect.
"Illusion Dienchantment. Easiest trick in the Angel's book. Form you regular groups and get going. Take away as much as this false hope as possible."
The angels flew off, doing just that.
One lingered behind, looking at Michael with uncertainty.
"The humans won't like us taking this away from them."
Anger boiled up inside him, he grabbed the man by the shirt, pushing him forcifully into a wall.
"I don't give a FUCK what the humans like!"
He stopped.
Where in the hell had that come from? Anger, that wasn't something he had ever had before. What was going on? He felt like he was beginning to lose power of everything. God had secret agenda's, the devil was using every tactic up her sleeve, and every other angel has a secret plan to either kill or infiltrate Lucifer's minions.
And here he was, stuck in the middle, trying to do his job.
At the most he was confused. Anger was the result of that.
"I'm sorry," he dropped the man. He hadn't even noticed that the angel's feet couldn't touch the ground.
"Listen, there is a woman helping the humans, she should be at a school nearby. She's a friend of mine, go to her, and tell her I sent you. She should have some news for you."
Fear in his eyes, the angel flew off.
What was he to do? The most powerful angel in God's arsenary, and all he could do was sit back and hope nothing fucked up.
What does anyone do when they feel like they have no where else to turn?
He got down on his knees, and began to pray.

Eve

She was going to argue further who should or shouldnt go when an angel flew in. He stopped before the gathered group and asked who was in charge here.
Eve raised her hand, questioning look in her eyes.
"Michael sent me to hear your news."
She nodded her head and excused herself from the group.
"Lets go into the other room please"
They walked out of the office and into the first room they came to.
She explained in detail all that had happened here, and that Peter had given Lucifer, or was going to give Lucifer the gate key to Heaven. She was assuming this information as his agenda. Why else would Peter go to Lucifer? But to switch sides and give her that key. She asked the angel to please ask Michael to come if he could to them. She needed him for some advice only he could give. The angel bid her farewell and went back to where ever Michael was.
Eve returned to the room and met three sets of questioning eyes.
"I'll explain later." She sat down heavily on the chair and put her head into her hands. She needed to pray for guidance here. So she did, silently to herself.

occ: sorry pmtick, i didnt see your post, i didnt mean to ignore you. Ill fix ..

IC: She looked up at Frank and smiled, "Its alright Frank, I was just wondering since No one else would know me as an angel unless I revealed it to them. Since I was masking myself I was curious. But it is good you can sense good and bad. It will be of great use to us, and in aiding those who want good." She sighed and leaned back her head was throbbing slightly. Her eyes opened and she focused on Cristian.

Gabriel:

At full speed, we fly back toward the convergence of the three tunnels. About three quarters of the way back, sensing movement, I halt. The two scout angels fly to me and report, "Jibril, neither of the two passages lead deeper into hell!"

"Just as I feared," I cry, "we may be trapped. We must hurry and try to open that door."

Into the air, we spring, flying to the door that shut behind me. Together, we begin to push and pull at the door, hoping that it will budge. It does not.

John Lyndon:

One of the skills I mastered at the academy is the ability to sleep with my eyes open. The sudden jarring of the car, as the Dragon closes his door, brings me back to conciousness.

My eyes are a little blurry, but I can tell we are in a forest of sorts. I wonder how long I have been asleep, thinking to myself, I thought redwoods grew in California. I notice that the Dragon is talking into the forest and realizing that I should join him, I creep out of the car, shutting the door ever so quietly.

As the door shuts, a spooky wind chirps through the trees and the Dragon replies, "He is a friend! He wont hurt the forest!! I promise!!!"

The Dragon turns to me and opens his eyes, wider. He nods his head toward the woods as he points to me. Suddenly it clicks and I shout out, "Nope! I won't hurt anything in this forest!"

With that, the wind dies down for a second. Then, it redoubles; as if, the trees and the animals are debating in the evening light. Picture the effect of a large hand placed between two trees. Suddenly, the hand pushes the trees down and apart. The hand wasn't there, but a strange light is. From the bright light, a shadow starts forward. It is human--at least it looks human. And, if I can make a judgement call, I think that human is a woman. Could it be the one we seek?

OOC: No prob sweetp. Where do you want to go from here with Michael?

Cristian took a step away from the group and looked at the angel who was telling them that they had to go to and see Michael. When she went to her knees and began to pray Cristian turned and walked from the room. There was no way that he could go and see Michael who was one of the most powerful angels. What would he say and would he be able to say anything without being destroyed.

He walked out into that hallway and the first thing that he saw was the humans there. They were all battered, bleeding and bruised and that left Cristian to think one thing. There was no way that he could go and see Michael. There were two things that prevented him from doing so, one was Michael and the other was these humans, who was going to protect them when the four of them were gone.

He walked back into the room and said, "I am not going with you to see Michael. I am going to stay right here."

Eve

She watched as Cristian left and returned. She sighed heavily, and got up from the floor. She stretched, her muscles weary and tired.
"None of us are going for Michael, He sent a messenger here. And I sent a message back with his messenger. So we wait. I couldn't leave if I wanted to. These human's need protection, and without me here, who knows what fate would be instore for them." She turned to Frank and St George.
"You two could do me a big favor by searching the premisis around the neightborhood for survivors. All we can do now is protect those here in this shelter, and save those we can get inside."
She moved to the door, she needed to go downstairs and check on those in the bomb shelter.
She turned to Cristian, "You are welcome to accompany me downstairs, if you desire." She turned to the other two.
"I dont mean to sound harsh, but if you want to help and stay here, we need weapons and guards. If you decide not to venture off the school grounds. For now I believe this school is safe, but it takes a combined force to keep it thusly."
She didn't wait to see if they would follow or not, she headed down the hallway. She needed to check on Mureen and Sarah. There was alot of wounded brought in just a little bit ago, and she would be needed to help heal.
