The Battle of Good Vs. Evil

Eve

She arrived at the school, safe and sound. The building still stood, and no creatures approached. This was a good sign, at least to her it was. She quickly made her wings vanish, and blocked her mind from intruders. She walked to Thomas and his friend.
"All well here friends?"
They both nodded to her and stretched a little.
"We havent seen anything for awhile now, its been rather peaceful out here." Thomas spoke softly, and apparent good education. She liked him, he was a strong soul.
"That you friends, Be safe. I will be in the shelter if needed."
Eve turned and walked down the hallway, passed her stolen struck, and down into the bomb shelter.
The things that met her eyes was cold and cruel. There were still many injured souls down here. Mureen and a few of the other ladies ran around, wrapping what they could. Eve turned to the first person she came across, she would help out.
"Hi there."
He looked up from his resting place on the floor.
"Hi"
"I'm Eve, and you are?"
"Hurt and tired, but my name is Brent."
"Nice to meet you Brent, anything seriously injured?"
He shook his head, "No just a minor cut up my forearm."
"Let me see it please."
Eve crouched down next to him as he pulled up his business shirt.
It was pretty deep and normally would require stitches, but Eve would help him heal without that.
She placed her hands, one of each side of the cut, and concentrated. She felt the heat radiate from her into him. She normally would sense his thoughts while doing this, but she had her mind blocked off.
She opened her eyes and glanced down, he was healed.
He looked at her with amazement.
"I..... wow..?" His voice kind of in awe.
"Yeah I know, you didn't believe in angels did you?"
He shook his head, "No, im sorry.."
"Its alright Brent, now you know we are very real."
Eve stood up to ge help the next one in line. She stopped and turned back to him.
"You are welcome to stay here, under the protection of all of us, if you wish it. But if you stay here you must help to protect this building and those in it. Think about it, and let me know." She went to move off and he stopped her with his hand on her wrist.
"I would like to stay and help..graditude or something.."
she nodded once, "Alright, and thank you Brent, we need all the help we can get right now."
She moved on to the next patient, looking her over and healing her minor wounds.

Frank and St. George greeted Christian and informed him of their pest problem, "It seems that we have a demon loose somewhere in the lower levels of the school. Shall we split up and look for it?"

Cristian

Cristian looked at first Frank and then St. George and said, "I don't think that's wise sorry to say. None of us know what this demon is like and it would probably kill the two of you before you had a chance to kill it. Sorry to put it so bluntly but I don't want to see either of you die."

Cristian then looked around and it dawned on him what Frank and St. George had just said. He turned and ran towards the stairs to the bomb shelter, leaving them standing there with confused looks on their faces. He looked back at them and shouted out, "Don't you remember what is down in the lower levels of this school. The hospital! That demon is going after the hospital!"

Eve

She moved to the next patient. Nothing major, just cuts and scrapes. She didn't need to heal this woman, "Mureen, will you bandage this one up for me?" She nodded to Eve and, Eve smiled. "Thank you." She moved along the line of injured people. No one seriously injured, She thanked god for his help. At least some good came of this.
Eve moved back further in the shelter, to her closet of a room. Little Sarah was there playing with her doll.
"Hi pumpkin, hows your doll today?"
She glanced up at Eve and shrugged, "She's fine, just bored down here in this dark cold cave."
Eve crouched down looking at her, she reached out and rubbed her head affectionately.
"It's alright down here, it could be worse.. There could be Bugs!"
Sarah scrunched up her nose, "Oh yuck! You are right Eve, could be bugs down here." Eve lifted her up and set her on her feet.
"Go on and play now, I need a few hours of sleep before the next round of injured people come in here. And dont bug your mother pumpkin, She's very busy."
Sarah skipped down the hallway, Eve watching her go. Smiling, she wished she would have had a child before dying. It would have been wonderful. Sarah sat down next to an injured man, and Eve shut her door. Avoiding the boxes and junk laying around, she crawled into her make shift pallet. Time to get some much needed rest.

LUCIFER

(OOC. To those of you who are wondering, I am extremely sorry for my absence. My friend and I were in an accident, a drunk driver took her life. So I have been a bit away, both mentally and physically. I apologize, maybe things will get back to normal. Merry Christmas.)

IC ooc: my last post is important to this one, so...

IC:

I had disappeared, into Pergatory. Only Pergatory wasn't as the humans percieved it, it is here where there was no time, no light, only darkness and yourself. You spent only seconds here, but it seemed like eons, so you could decide what you wanted with your afterlife. It didn't always happen how you wanted it, but it was a holding place before the river Styx.

I sighed in relief. My energy was down. It seemed as though Ambrosia was still following me.

I couldn't really think straight. That is when I appeared before the gates of Heaven. For some reason I had thought of speaking with Michael, I hadn't wanted to do it quite yet, but I had lost my grip on my transporting powers. Temporarily.

I sneered. Before the gates of Heaven were The Almighty's troops.

"MOVE." I commanded, my voice pierce and shrill. Some of them did move, some of them flinched. Many bared their swords.

"I have no time for this. Must you die also? Stand Down."

I shouted to Michael, wherever he was "Give up Michael, do you really want to be responsible for their deaths?"

AMBROSIA:

I smiled, she would go fighting, I had more than enough strength, only...causing my death after I took on the evil of Lucifer...that was a completely different story.

I appeared before Michael. I didn't even notice our surroundings.

He looked at me oddly.

A deep black streak had found it's way into my hair. I was beginning my transformation as we spoke. The little I had taken from Lucifer had started.

I had much to go, Lucifer was very powerful. It may take met he rest of the era of unrest to complete this.

I looked to Michael. " You must remember that I love you, and never to forget your purpose Michael. After I am gone, you must keep peace. "

I knew that there may not ever be peace again without me. For I was the Angel of Peace, but God had sent me here, this HAD to be my purpose.

I took his face in my hands and kissed him gently. "Peace be with you."

He looked at me, narrowing his eyes in confusion. I smiled. He could feel something was different within me.

(ooc. Ok, I am going to begin Lucy's Transformation. Dramatics people!)

Archangel Gabriel:

Standing at the gates, I feel the entrance from Pergatory opening. Down the road toward Styx, thirty feet from my current position, the gateway opens and out walks the most beautiful woman that walks the path of eternity.

Out of the shadow strolls Lucifer, spinner of lies. Taking two steps from the portal, she screams at the line of troops. Many of them move from her path, others flinch and hold their ground. I pull my sword from its scabbard.

Shining in God's holy light, I respond to Lucifer's request, "Satan! You will not find Michael here... But you have found me. I am Gabriel, friend of God. Stand down or die!"

That should rally the troops, I think to myself.

OOC: Anelgus how do you want to work this?

Frank and St. George hurried into the basement to search for the demon...

OOC: Okay.... well I want to save the hospital and hopefully if I can get poohlive's help get him to come in just as Cristian is fighting the demon and think I am helping and attack me.

Eve

She awoke sometime later, all was silent around her. She couldn't hear anyone? Odd. She got up and redressed, walking out into the main room of the shelter. People were laying here and there, mostly sleeping. She couldnt find St George, Frank or Cristian anywhere in the room. She quietly walked around, checking here and there, but still nothing. Little Sara was asleep next to her mother, and the new comers all curled up and resting too.

Eve slowly walked around behind the crates and boxes, wondering what was going on? Finding nothing too strange she headed back the way she came. To the cattacombs down from her room. These little tunnels led all over the place. Perhaps she could find something usefull in them?

Cristian

Cristian ran down the stairs as fast as he could, not caring if St. George of Frank were keeping up with him. All he wanted to do was to get into the lover basement and find that demon. He was not going to let it destroy the people in this school and that meant that he had to do one thing, destroy it. He found the set of stairs that led down and raced down them, instantly being hit by a feeling of vileness.

There was definitely a demon down here and by the feeling of it it was a powerful and truly evil demon. Cristian raised his head and tried to locate where the demon was and quickly found it. Its evil seemed to scream to him and he began to move towards it but as he did he felt something else come into the lower basement. It was pure good and he knew instantly who it was, Eve!

He then felt the demon move towards Eve and knew that it had sensed her. He had to stop it!

Cristian ran towards the demon and hoped that he wouldn't be too late. He had to get to the demon before it got to Eve.... he just had to. Cristian ran down through the basement until suddenly he felt it straight ahead of him, an evil so foul and disgusting that it began to make him feel ill. He then saw it and his eyes widened when he saw that it had a ball of energy in its clawed hand.

It was then that Cristian saw Eve as she walked towards where the demon was standing and he wondered why she couldn't sense it. He ran at the demon and shouted out, "Eve! Look out!"

The demon turned quickly and before Cristian could stop threw the ball of energy which hit Cristian in the chest, throwing him against a wall.

Eve

She wandered along, her thoughts elsewhere when she heard Cristian yell at her. "Look Out!" She jumped about a mile high and looked up. There was this hideous beast between her and him.
"Oh my.." She jumped behind some crates, not sure what to do.
She hurried and cleared her head and called forth her power, and stepped from behind the crates. Cristian had been thrown into the conrete wall, a big indent to prove it.
"Cristian are you ok?!" She stood her ground, watching the beast before her. It's grotesque mouth smiling at her. She shivered a little, this creature was hideous and stunk. Why hadnt she seen it before? The creature came towards her, his eyes roaming up and down her body. He reached out his 'hands' to grasp her, but she side stepped it. It wasnt attacking her, merely cornering her. Or so it seemed. everytime she moved one way it followed, but kept coming forward at her. She knew she had to find a way out of there before she was cornered. The ceiling wasnt high enough to fly over it.
"C-Cristian? Ummm Help? Please?" She whispered this, her panic rising. Why was it stalking her into a corner?

Cristian

Cristian slowly got to his feet and looked over at the demon and Eve to see that the thing was slolwly moving her over to a corner. He didn't know what it was doing or why it was doing it but he was determined not to let it get to Eve. He raised his arms and found that one didn't move. He looked at his left arm and found to his shock that it was hanging limply to his side.

He closed his eyes and fired a ball of energy at the demon and found to his shock that it merely washed over its body. He ran at the demon and shouted out, "You will not take her!"

He slammed into the demon and tried to punch it but before he could it grabbed him and pulled him up. He shouted out in pain before the demon smiled then threw him across the floor.

Eve

She watched in horror as the demon just tossed Cristian away like a rag doll. His power did nothing to hinder the beast. Quickly thinking she looked around. Nothing inside except some old wooden crates, and pieces of wood here and there.
"Hey.. Mr demon. over here.." She called out to the demon to lure it from Cristian. His eyes followed her movements, and roamed over her once more. She felt a little ill, but hid it right away. She blocked her thoughts, trying to figure out what to do? Where was everyone?!
The demon advanced again, but this time instead of into the corner she slid along the wall. The demon kept up with her, barely inches from her body. His little 'hand' came out and what looked like a finger touched her arm. She felt the coldness and the evil inside this creature wash over her. She moaned a little, it was a sickening feeling. Made her want to crindge away. But she didn't.
She scooted along the wall, trying to find a solution to this. It was very obvious their powers wouldnt work. And vanishing into thin air would leave this beast in her building. Think Eve! She chided herself. The demon came up to press against her body for a moment, she turned her head away. Not wanting to smell its sick breath. So acid in stench she felt her stomach coil into a knot.
"Cristian? Are you ok?" She felt afraid, and like she wanted to cry. Why was this beast stalking her this way?
The beast turned his head to look over at Cristian and she moved further down the wall, away from it. Wanting to be free of this vile thing's touch. She glanced around. There! A board on the crate, it was pointed at one end.
"Cristian, if you can distract him... I got an idea.. But I need him to move away from me." her thoughts went to his mind, hoping he could hear her.

Cristian began to slowly get to his feet when he heard Eve's voice in his head. He raised his hand again but then he remembered what had happened the last time. He lowered his arm and shouted out, "Hey- I'm still here!"

The demon turned quickly and Cristian stood there, watching as it ran towards him. He started to move to his right but before he could the demon caught him in the chest, causing him to fly through the air and into a wall. Before Cristian knew what was happening the demon rushed at him and grabbed Cristian around the head, slamming it into the wall until blood began to appear on the wall.

Cristian knew that he was in trouble then and closed his eyes, Eve- you have your distraction but can you please help me before it kills me because I don't think I can last much longer.

Eve

She quickly grabbed the wooden stake and ran up with all her speed at the beasts back. With one lunge she stabbed the creature through the back of his head. Blood spurted everywhere, and some black ooze. She felt real ill, but shoved harder until the pike came out the other side of its head. The creature screamed out and jerked violently as she shoved the wood threw it. She bent over, breathing in and out. The stench making her want to throw up.
"Cristian.. I dont feel so well.." She shook a little, her hands gooey with sticky stuff. The creature's blood and brains she assumed. She quickly as she could moved to Cristian. Prying the creatures hands from his neck she pulled him down. She fell to the floor, Cristian landing on top of her. She quickly rolled him to his back.
"Where does it hurt?" She opened her mind, and started feeling around. His arm was broken, and his head badly damaged.
"Can you walk? I need you to get to my room, and lay down. I. I dont want to stay here with This thing and try to heal you... Cristian?" She felt weak all over, shaking. it must have been from slaying that creature, the sickening smell still making her stomach roll violently.

Cristian

Cristian looked at Eve and felt all of his energy slowly leaving his body. He had been badly injured in the fight but he knew that the two of them had to get out of the basement. He leaned towards Eve, "I think that I can walk but I do need help I'm sorry to say. I know I am a burden for you."

The two of them slowly walked towards the stairs that led to the ground floor of the school and Cristian hoped they would make it before his energy left him.

Eve

She kicked open her bedroom door, and walked slowly in. Her hand around his waist and her other holding his arm around her shoulder. She got him on the bed and laid him down. It was slow going with his other arm broken, but they made it safely inside. She shut the door and quickly knelt down on the floor, placing her hands over his chest.
"Here goes nothing.. Wish me luck and concentrate on mending those bones... What ever I can do wont work if you dont try to heal with me here.."
She closed her eyes and started concentrating, her mind 'seeing' the bone move back together, and 'seeing' the tendons mesh back into a whole. She concentrated harder, feeling her strength pour into his tormented body. She watched as if it was a lazer line as his bone mended back together. She moved up higher, fixing his ribs. Also watching in her mind as the bones fused back together. She termored slightly, as sweat beaded on her brow. She moved higher to his neck, slowly making the bruises erase away and his muscles untighten. Easing out the knots and the tears.
She felt his pain inside herself, and took it away. her mind touching his with soothing thoughts, as a mother would sooth a baby to sleep. She moved upwards in her mind. His head sevearly damaged, but she didnt flinch away, merely put more effort into it. She got up from the floor and sat on the bed beside him. Her hands reached out and took his head into her palms.
She clenched her teeth tightly, and fought harder to repair him. She got his skull back into the right shape, mending the bones. It was going slower than she thought it would, but it was working... Slowly. She felt like growling in frustration, wishing she could slay the beast over again.
She centered all her thoughts on fixing his 'brain'. As an angel, his brain wasnt techincally living, but it was here on earth, in a strange unexplainable way. She healed him as best she could. Beaten down now and tired, her hands limply fell from his head to his shoulders. She breathed in slow and deeply, opening her eyes. Looking over his face, she called out to him.
"Open your eyes Cristian... Lets see if you are still here with me." She drew in a shakey breath and hoped she had done all she could possibly do for him. She gave a silent prayer, not asking. Just that the right choice was made here. She opened her eyes again, he wasnt fading into nothingness. Perhaps he made it?
"Cristian?"

Cristian felt as though he was floating.... he was so calm and peaceful. He knew this place well and there was something that called to him, something that made him want to stay here and not go back to all the pain and anquish that he had been through. He smiled when he looked around at heaven and all the angels that were there, watching him. He floated over to an area with several angels and landed then looked at them with a smile. He was home and this was wear he belonged. He didn't want to go back.

But suddenly there was a voice that he could hear in his mind- a voice that he recognized. It was a voice that was calling him back. He didn't want to go back but yet there was something to that voice, something that made him want to go back. He turned to the angels and told them he had to go back.

He then found himself shooting back to earth, to the body that he held and with a gasp sat up on the bed.

Eve

She jumped back as he sat up suddenly. "Damn!" He scared her jerking upright like that. She put her hand over her heart and just breathed in and out.l "I think you just scared half my life off..." She smiled a little, "Are you ok now?" She whispered the question, not sure if his head hurt still or not.
She seen the odd look on his face, "Cristian? Are you ok?"

Cristian fell back onto the bed and his eyes closed instantly. He had been there but there was still something that was holding him back to heaven. He wanted to be back on Earth- to save the people in the school and for some level to be with Eve. He didn't know why but his thoughts and feelings fell back to her. He opened his eyes and found that he was still floating although he was no longer in Heaven- he looked around and found to his surprise and shock that he was in a dark void.

Eve

She leaned down closer to him, but he wasn't responding.
"Dammit Cristian! Dont do this to me right now!" She was shakey and weak, and he wasn't pulling through like he should. She leaned forward. Her forehead resting against his. Her hands moving back up to his face. She cradled his head between her palms and let her mind touch his.
"Come back Cristian, follow to my voice. Listen.. come back.." Her mind searching for his, trying to make some kind of contact. She closed her eyes and searched for him in the darkness that met her. Where was his own mind? Where was he trapped? "Can you hear me? Can you feel me here with you?" She was trying desperately to reach him in the void. She needed him here with her. She couldn't do this all by herself. She knew that. Felt it deep down inside. Her fingertips tighened into his scalp, her forehead still resting against his. She was weakening more by the minute. She needed to sleep as badly as he did, but she wasnt going to stop searching til she found some semblance to Cristian inside this void.

Cristian

Cristian searched around the void, desperately trying to find something, someway to get out of here. He knew that he had to get back to Earth and keep the school safe. He also knew that he had to get back there to keep Eve safe. For some reason that shocked him- there was no way that he could have these feelings. That was the one thing that got him into trouble, that corrupted him before.

He then heard it, he heard her voice and looked left then right, trying desperately to find it. He shouted out, "Eve- I am right here. Help me!"
