hmm Dayton is ony 5-6 hours away so the rest of ohio can't be much further. How isyour knee doing though? I had surgery done on my knee earlier this year. I got sick of waking up in tears so I know how bad a messed up knee can be.

Well they said it is a very bad sprained knee.....He put me in physical therapy and told me he still wants me to see an orthopedic surgeon....that is on the 30 th of Oct......I had my first pool PT today....it didn't hurt to bad in the water....But mom and I went to K-Mart and she dropped me off at my apartment....On the way up the steps my knee gave out and now it is hurting like crazy...

You may want to think about grabbing a cane, it's a lot better than using a crutch. My orthopedic sugeon was an idiiot and you would think after returning to him every winter for 4 years he would have told me that he had no clue about about what was wrong with me. I went to another ortho and within 5 minutes he named 3 things that it could be that the other doc never mentioned. My knee is better now, not sure if it'll ever be 100% but it's a lot better than being on bedrest.

Mary if that is the case, then I would have it looked at in the ER. Anytime that a knee gives out like that it isn't good and it isn't a sprain either. I know, I am the veteran of 8 knee surgeries.

It has been giving out on me since i hurt it the first week out sept.....and i have had 2 mri's and go to the orthropedic dr on the 30th....
