The Cozy Corner

As an anatomist, kinesiologist, massage therapist… i have seen some shit… some body parts can tease me but no body part really gets me off.
Ok, so a question to you as a massage therapist....

When I'm on the table, one of the things I tell myself to help relax is, "I'm just another slab of meat to him"

Please tell me that's true, right?

I'm going to inject myself here and say.... Depending on the therapist, my mind goes a full 360 in terms of my thoughts and... Feelings.

Yes, for the general population of therapists that is true… it is when playful banter are anything “outside” professional speak is introduced that it becomes a different story… mostly. Not 100% but of all my friends who lost licenses or were in jail… it is because the professional lines became blurred

Wasn't me, thank God, but one of my co-workers was tuning into Call Review (Our Medical Director picks EMS reports from calls we've run and then critiques, discusses, provides feedback on the care provided and the quality of our work, via Teams, with all employees tuning in). Said co-worker called in on his phone and was on the shitter and unknowingly turned on his camera and audio for all to hear and see....needless to say that call review was pulled from the training archives folder and edited before being put back up for those who missed it.

I know for me it's all about context. When I'm at work, I see a lot of boobs. Nice boobs, flat boobs, floppy boobs, man boobs, big giant bazoombas.... a boob is a boob is a boob. I have to be thinking about my professional demeanor, the task I'm doing, getting information from the patient....there's a load of things to think about - literally everything except what a nice rack she might have - not that boobs even really do it for me anyway. No body part is worth losing my credibility for. If anything when those moments happen and I'm around a very attractive patient and I have to be in an intimate setting, it's even less comfortable and I work to keep things as positive and professional as possible.

Now if I'm playing with someone I know and it's an intimate setting...that's a whole other thing!

When I read general population my mind went somewhere else.

When I read jail, I just figured I was ahead of the curve 🤣😉

Truth! Context is everything! I guess for me… i dont even go into the AM pics anymore unless it is for a very specific person. Otherwise no big deal.

So massage therapists being jailed is a thing?
