I hear you! Being a project manager at a data center / colocation space was tough! Especially when I first started. Add that I'm short and the guys were almost unbearable. Thankfully, I had a great boss and he really helped coach me while also getting on the guy's asses. Still, I did have quite a few HR meetings but after a couple of years, I had a great team.
So that makes my old boss's invitation to go back hard to say no to.
