What a fabulous day. Weather was perfect for a drive. I learned this weekend was busy due to parade, local festival, and graduation. But we had no problem finding a place to park. I got to see the stores I wanted. Lunch was a big hit with mom (and me). Plus I found some goodies I’ve wanted for sometime but it’s been out of stock online. And I found it at the Stationery Store.

It’s a water color paint book that gives you the “instructions” for water color. You have a picture done for you then a bare sketch you paint in and can follow the color palette. So it’s a fun introductory project for someone like me with no art skills. Now I must convince myself it’s ok if it’s not perfect.

Plus some books and some
stickers and washi tape. And a notebook…. Uh yeah I had fun. I did curb myself as I’m going to Chicago next Friday to stay the night in the suburbs and into the city proper Saturday morning for another Stationery store.
