There’s probably a few out there but none come to mind right now. Some sequels are decent but most of those aren’t even great.

IMO, the problem with most sequels is they don't try to grow the story and push boundaries, they simply try to rehash the first movie for a cash grab.

Ocean's 11 was a remake of a 1960 film and has generally good ratings.
