I agree! And the food tonight will be an Italian sandwich (Focaccia, Ricotta, Mozzarella, Tomatoes, Mortadella and some fresh basil) so the drink suits perfect as a starter.

Well, it's almost 4:30 pm here, so I'd say you can go from coffee to cocktail with good conscience.
It's gone 4pm here so must be time for a Prosecco.
I'm going to add some crème de cassis and make a Kir Royale to stay on the cocktail theme and to feel fancy!

Kir Royale is very good!
It's often a welcome drink in this house. And it's easy to make non alcoholic for the kids. Just use black currant syrup and non alcoholic bubble.
