As an introvert, I just had to socialise for 4 hours and now I am depleted... Why is it so much easier to talk to you lovely people?

I am exactly the same way. I think it's easier on the internet because you're not face to face, usually. There's less concern that you're being judged for x, y, or zed. Typing in a more controlled environment is just far less draining than having to interact with people one on one and having to hide what you think of them internally, etc. As Jean-Paul Sartre put it: "Hell is other people."

I just got up and can confirm that it was not the train running thru the house I heard. It was a heavy rain shower de lux that slammed the roof!
Other than that I slept like a baby.
