The Cozy Corner

I am a big fan of grocery shopping Sunday mornings while everyone is at church. Gotta time it up right though so I can still buy booze.
I always forget the booze thing when I go on Sunday mornings.. on Sundays it starts at 10am here, which seems ridiculous. Why not let them start it a couple of hours earlier? Are they so afraid someone might buy some before church?

Anything to keep the group on edge...... :D

In Sweden you are not allowed to buy booze on Sundays and we are not known to crowd the churches. It's a health thing here. We are a part of the Vodka belt witch means that before the booze was restricted the Swedish people drank about 46 liters of Vodka per year on average.
We didn't forbid alcohol like USA did, but we restricted how much and when you were allowed to buy. It was very restricted in the beginning but today it's quite ok if you ask me. You can only buy booze (all more than 3,5% alcohol) in special stores and that's closed on Sundays. All other days it's open like a normal store.
